From scale 1 scale till retirement I was branch head and winner of best branch award on all India basis and was honoured in my bank board room for this achievement.
My branch never missed any business target through half of the month I remain out of the branch for union works .
24 years back took charge of a semi urban branch with 14 cr total business when I left that branch after 44 months business of the branch was 116 cr .
Next branch 18 cr total business after 17 months on promotion i left that branch with 90 cr business.
Last branch in delhi when I took over business was 360 cr when I left in June 21 after 37 months business was 640 cr all retail business.
No institutional business.never went out of branch for business.all across the counter world class service driven business.
My aura as branch head was so that I used to recieve call from circle office /regional office that sir please you do not come to RO / ZO for review meeting because your all target done so saheb ne aapse yah request Kiya hai ..
Never ever felt any pressure while working in a branch.
And all enjoyed full support from my branch staffs.

The 5 Day Work Week for bank employees was agreed in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. Its implementation cannot remain pending indefinitely.

At the same time, a unilateral and discriminatory PLI framework that divides the workforce must give way to a fair, transparent and inclusive system for all employees.

Every achievement of our banks is the outcome of collective effort.

Recognition too must reflect that collective contribution.

We seek no privilege, only implementation of an agreed commitment, equality in reward and dignity at work.

Pink Buses are now being driven by women drivers. They were already managed by women conductors and are meant exclusively for women.

A few months ago, I reported on this initiative and spoke to several women conductors at the bus depot, they truly felt empowered and confident.

Under PM Jan Dhan Yojana, more than 55 crore bank accounts have been opened. These accounts mainly comprise of the people who never even got to see the door of the banks.

With the programme completing 10 years & these accounts requiring KYCs, I urged the banks to start an initiative of reaching out to people for the same. Since 1st July 2025, banks have covered nearly 1 Lakh Gram Panchayats under this initiative.

With the initiative continuing in its full spirit, I urge people with Jan Dhan bank accounts to come forward, attend these camps & get their KYCs done.
