I lost my dear friend, Lisa Quiroz, to pancreatic cancer. Before she died, she gave me earrings she wore at her wedding, asked I wear them at mine so she could be w/me. She spent her life lifting women & minorities. Last night, I proudly wore them to 1st woman @VP’s residence.
