Quick reality check: fuel costs then vs now
Under Muhammadu Buhari:
Avg petrol price ≈ ₦165/litre (official price)
45,000 litres tanker ≈ ₦7.4 million
Under Bola Ahmed Tinubu:
Avg petrol price ≈ ₦1285/litre (official price)
45,000 litres tanker ≈ ₦57,825,000 million
Same tanker, nearly 8× the cost.
The question:
- How many businesses and households can absorb this jump?
- Higher production cost = higher price of finish products. Can anyone tell us how costly Nigerian goods compete favourably with cheaper Chinese product despite our useless policy of naira devaluation?
President Tinubu doesn'tdeserve a second term.

The main opposition ADC, by standing their grounds yesterday in Abuja, I hope millions of Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora can now see that the Bola Tinubu led APC regime is criminally overrated.
I live in rural America. A town of over 4000 people, mostly 'hilly billies.' One thing I love about the average American is their fearlessness to vehemently resist oppressors.
I was in an intellectual conversational intercourse with some 'hilly billy' buddies last week, and I asked, "If some terrorists or bandits invaded this town in the dead of the night and shooting sporadically, what would you guys do?"
They laughed, "hahahahahah! We are bringing out our machines to do the needful! It's gonna be wild wild west here, my friend!"
I want the average Nigerian to quit these cries of boohoo wawa whenever these rogue and cowardly APC politicians come for them. Fight back with your honor, wealth, and even blood.
In his eternal words, one of America's founding fathers, Benjamin Franklin, opined: "Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God Almighty."
Lt. AM Yerima proved this self-evident truth in November 2025, when he stood his ground against the chronic alcoholic @GovWike.
The Senator David Mark-led ADC again proved this self-evident truth yesterday in Abuja by standing its ground against Wike and the Bola Tinubu led APC regime.
Dear Nigerians, Stand Your Ground At All Times!
Rauf Aregbesola, ADC national secretary, says the party is unstoppable.
“Despite all desperate attempts to emasculate our party, just as no power can stop the sun from rising, so the ADC cannot be stopped,” he said.
“The ADC does not owe its existence to any individual, including the umpire robed in partisanship.
“We owe our existence to the Nigerian constitution. We are here because the ADC is on a rescue mission.
“We cannot allow kakistocracy in Nigeria. Four years ago, this government promised Nigerians renewed hope; three years into its tenure, it is still making the same promise.
“When will this hope come to fruition? We have a duty to stop these scammers from retaining power.”

If this statement is true, and this Lawrence Bayode is actually @inecnigeria's ICT director, then the problem is far deeper than we thought. I just want to believe this is made up.
As of 2023, nobody except probably his students at UniJos knew Prof. Joash Ojo Amupitan. I have never heard of the name until 9 October, 2025 when President Tinubu nominated him as INEC chairman. And i can bet the story is same with majority of Nigerians. So why would 'Digital Impasonators' use his name to open an X account?
In all, what make this whole thing crazy is the fact that they can say things like these in public. What Lawrence Bayode is telling us is that the 'Digital Impasonators', collected Amupitan's device to open an X account and later returned it to him. Or how were they able to authenticate the account? Is it that INEC's ICT director don't know an OTP is sent to the email or phone number used to open that account which must be typed into a column for that account to be authenticated for use?
Meanwhile, that X account was also verified. So how did the 'Digital Impasonators' do it?
If these people can be coming out to talk like illiterates in public like this, then one can imagine what they can do in private. This is how much Tinubu and his gang has destroyed our institutions.
This is a shame of a nation.

“None of the 2023, 2024 or 2025 budgets was implemented. They looted and pocketed the money. I am a Senator and I am telling you the truth.”
— Senator Aminu Tambuwal.
The Jilli market airstrike that killed scores of innocent traders is not just tragic, but a devastating failure that must outrage every conscience.
While targeting insurgents, innocent Nigerians were once again reduced to collateral damage. How long will citizens remain unsafe both from terrorists and from the very operations meant to protect them? Just a few days ago, the United States deployed over 150 aircraft and spent an estimated $300 million to rescue just one pilot in Iran, even destroying equipment worth over $100 million each to protect a single life. That is the value they place on one citizen.
Here at home, we must ask: what is the value of Nigerian lives? This demands urgent review, accountability, and decisive action to prevent a recurrence.
My heartfelt condolences go to the bereaved families and affected communities. Nigeria must uphold its duty to protect its citizen. That is the ultimate essence of National Security. -AA

Incase Professor Joash Amupitan thinks he is denying that account in front of his kids 😂
Observe with me
The 2FA procedure of the email registered to the now denied X account, brings you a certain phone number that ends with 99
Now, take a look at the phone number on Amupitan’s CV and what it ends with.
Even his other email, which is an institutional email of UNIJOS happens to be the authentication backup email.
Is this mere coincidence??😏🤷🏿
