@mcshmooty@scbower@LayinProps I read this like netjets has the option to install $GOGO but I don’t see any firm commitments or saying they “will” install it. Are the 600 netjets planes that are getting Starlink separate/mutually exclusive from the ones getting new $GOGO equipment?
@scbower@LayinProps Think it’s more about the datapoint that Starlink stole an incumbent relationship that should have been $gogo
Can u help me understand how this relates to this prior agmt with netjets from 2024? Seems like the 2024 agreement was an “option” that netjets is not going to exercise?
@scbower@Oceanus23686454@Bprew7 CEO Chris Moore down 50%+ on his buy at $12 and Charles Townsend down a quick 20% / $300k on his recent purchases. Thanks for playing 🤡🤡🤡
@Oceanus23686454@Bprew7 I’m just speculating. in my experience these things take time to put together — legal docs getting turned, terms being negotiated, etc. I would imagine $GOGO mgmt and BOD had at least an inkling / very well-educated guess as to what was going on with netjets a few weeks ago
@Oceanus23686454@Bprew7 And why did board member Charles Townsend just buy like $1.3 million of shares in the open market like two weeks ago when this fact would have almost certainly been known by him? I can’t imagine he just willingly enjoys lighting money on fire. But maybe he does 💁🏻♂️
@Oceanus23686454@Bprew7 Serious 1 - How does this relate to this gogo/netjets deal announced back in 2024? Did Netjets now elect to install Starlink instead of gogo?

@BluthCapital Unfortunately he is still underwater on his 2018 insider buys seven (7!!!) years later 😭😖
I’m feeling so jaded towards $GOGO haha. Mentally preparing for underwhelming 2026 guide. Maybe they’ll shock me
@mdmourges@BluthCapital I have been in and out of $GOGO and following for about 5 years since the pre-CA spin-out and I rage-sold a big chunk of my shares yesterday. Now the share price will certainly go back up…probably 2-3x in the near future because I sold. Happy to take one for the team 😂
@mdmourges@BluthCapital I was just looking at this MS note from late 2022 where 5G was supposed to go live in Q4 2023…which was a delay vs. the previously estimated timeline. Now here we are after another incremental 2+ years (!!) of delays
@Bprew7@mustang_cap23 Perhaps he was part of the Satcom synergy plan? The $30m of savings has to come from somewhere and a good chunk was always going to be headcount. May have been highly paid, redundant, and too expensive to keep around. Just speculating
@russellgates_@Bprew7 IMO perception of terminal value has been the issue…the market is pricing it like Starlink eats their lunch and they never grow again…equity value is at like 8x 2026 FCF. It has been incredibly frustrating that the story has always been “next year will be great”…
@Bprew7 Then they said "we have really great data about why we are losing ATG units online" and then didn't provide anything else meaningful...crazy that they didn't think to prep for that question better.
@Bprew7 ATG units online has been going backwards for the last ~18 months and this was a pretty significant incremental stepdown. AVANCE penetration is strong, but they fumbled the question on AOL really bad...just sputtered around and said "uhhh...we're not losing any to Starlink..."
@BoringBiz_ you often come across as a LARP-er. Vehicles are delivered free and clear. any vehicle lease expense (principal & int) in p&l is going to 0 under new buyer. Whether you need recurring maintenance, new/replacement vehicle spend in OpEx or capex is a different topic
@mustang_cap23 @IncomeDummy123 I still don’t fully understand why they got involved in the first place…their investing mandate is to invest in PRIVATE companies (they are a private equity firm after all)…strange that they buy a minority stake in a public co and sell it years later
@ive_m5 Maybe I am being dense — what do you mean by this? Couldn’t GTCR theoretically sell their entire share in the open markets whenever they wanted to?
