Even living abroad, it is easier for me to invite fellow Indians to Onam Sadya compared to a more lavish Christmas spread which features beef, pork, venison and seafood.

@ekaurpokhran @JCheruvathoor @_fictionophile_ When Christians in my family saw the movie, none of them reacted - Look what happens in Hindu families. Their reaction was more on the lines of "this is what happens to our women".

Some discrimination is irrespective of religion.

Also The Great Indian Kitchen was equally applicable to every religion. Nobody saw that as a problem within Hindu family but as a misogyny & patriarchy issue.

@gauravsabnis In my experience, "lets leave politics aside" is the common response when bigots are called out for their bigotry.
Only reason they are able to leave politics aside is because they are benefitting from the current system and are oblivious to their own privilege & caste capital.
