Cast name added to people’s name is just a symptom. The root cause is deep rooted into their minds, I think

I too have thought about this. But there is one flaw, a serious one, which is that it would give the wrong impression that these cast names hold some kind of specialty and whoever tries to do this will look like wannabes. Need to fix the root cause not the symptoms

So, here's my idea. We start giving random surnames such as Namboothiri, Menon, Singh, Kulkarni, Pandey, Shetty, Bisht or whatever to babies so the names just get diluted and noone would be able to discriminate based on caste names. Regressive problems need modern solutions.
