By my count, with Tiger and Phil both sitting out The Masters, there will be only six 'senior' golfers at Augusta National next week.
Fred Couples (66), Vijay Singh (63), Jose Maria Olazabal (60), Angel Cabrera (56), Mike Weir (55), and Zach Johnson (50).
One of the my favorite photos in Masters history:
Bobby Jones walking with Paul Runyan across the bridge to the 12th green during the inaugural 1934 tournament.

This photo will never not baffle me. A home on the grounds of Augusta National behind the first green.
“One of Clifford Roberts’s last acts before taking his life, in 1977, was to walk to the first tee with the help of a waiter so that he could look up the fairway and assure himself that the house had been torn down.”
What if I told you, your putter is obsolete?
First persimmons, then balatas, and now...it could be your putter on its way out.
This is one of the largest revolutions in golf since I can remember.
Trust me...

Per @ByRobertMurray, the San Diego Padres are calling up former Hawkeye starting pitcher Adam Mazur.
He is expected to start on Tuesday against Los Angeles Angels.
Congratulations to Joey Lucius for being honored as the 2024 recipient of the Brad Mauder Memorial Scholarship. Brad's memory lives on in many of our lives; proud to see Joey bring the same kindness to others that Brad was so well known for. 👏👏
Adam Mazur first AAA start
6 IP, 2 ER, 6 Ks, 2 BB, 6 H
He’s at 87 pitches so I’m assuming he’s done. Pitched pretty good especially for the PCL. Fastball averaged 95.8 mph which is nice to see.
Following in the footsteps of John Madden & Bob Uecker is a very tall task, but one I am honored to attempt.
Having grown up in Wisconsin, I am keenly aware of the “Great Taste” vs. “Less Filling” debate…
Time to assemble the @MillerLite All-Stars once again…

On this date in 1980 a miracle happened…the United States hockey team defeated the Soviet Union. Al Michaels and Ken Dryden were brilliant on the call.
