ਜੰਗਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਡੇ ਕਾਰਨਾਮਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਹਕੀਕਤ ਵੀ ਕੁਝ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਕਾਰਨਾਮਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਨੀਹਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ। ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਸਿਰਫ ਕਾਰਨਾਮਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਟੀਸੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਨਾਂਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਓਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਿਕਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦੀ ਘਾੜਤ ਵਿਚ ਕੰਧ ਵਿਚ ਇਟਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਲੱਗੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ-ਸਿੰਘਣੀਆਂ, ਬੱਚਿਆਂ, ਬਜੁਰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਡੀ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਅਸਲ ਵਿਚ ਏਹਨਾਂ ਅਣਗੌਲੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਜਿਕਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
