this is my favourite part about documenting my life. somethings i just don’t remember that i’ve lived well until i look at my archives. it’s such a sweet reminder that because i’ve lived before, i can go on and live again.
never force relationships or communication. if it's not mutual, then let it go. people know exactly what they're doing. if they wanted to match your energy, they would. start rewarding inconsistency with unavailability. allow them to lose you.
When you stop reading books, you start losing verbal dexterity, depth of thought and imagination.

Family meetings are so interesting. You can walk into it looking to solve something that happened last week but find that the real issue is that uMalume used to eat KFC in his room alone when he was working at Morkels in 2003 and people haven't healed from that.
Don’t get me wrong, I love being home and with my family at large but sana, I find myself constantly hurting and mourning my late mom.
Mind you, sis passed away 07 and everytime I’m with family, I’m constantly reminded of her absence. I don’t know how to explain it but damn.

I can’t imagine having a long day & needing a moment to myself, then some random kid will come out of nowhere to be asking “mummy what will I eat” omg I would lose it
