@TheAmberPicota "Normal teasing & light bullying" is better referred to as abuse, via harassment & assault. If the school were going to stop/prevent it, they would have. Circuses are actually well planned & coordinated. You should homeschool her. The harm from peer abuse can last for decades.
@jubunnies It may be "normal" in the sense that men feel entitled; but, it's not "normal" as in ok. It would be normal/reasonable to check all surrounding areas. It's super strange, creepy, & definitely seems invasive to specifically mention your ovaries.
@coffeecatharine@jubunnies That may be; but, it's still super weird to say to a 14-year-old--as a matter of age, the presumption that it's necessary to say to a girl/woman, & due to the fact that the appendix is at the base of the large intestine & is not in contact with the ovaries.
@marshstarx Maybe insecurity, or maybe they just love & worry about you, much like you do with them. The former should be addressed/resolved. The latter is a good thing &, I think, indicates growing independence & the moving toward a healthy adulthood. It's all about the details.
@Bryan_Duncan@RGRyan777 That sounds about right. The Bible speaks about passion & has nothing to say for/against electric guitars, etc. People who write commentaries, on the other hand, have a lot to say about things they don't approve of...which might be ok if they didn't drag the Bible into it.
@JasmineForUS (3) Democrat leaders, but refuse to meet with Republicans or do more than the minimum business with the U.S until Trump & his loyalists are permanently removed from office.
Whatever happens, I really hope that the bulk of us who aren't independently wealthy don't suffer for it;
@AngEngland My memory isn't what it used to be, due to C-PTSD; but, my read memory is still good, while vocabulary & remembering things I need/want to do is iffy.
@LauraRbnsn (2) leftover breads, etc. from a local company each week. What wasn't eaten before the church service was available to go home with people afterward. It's always possible for churches to do something. It's just a question of what.
@LauraRbnsn (1).While I agree overall, it's important not to underestimate what churches can do. I used to attend 1 that met in the basement of a local building. They maintained a pantry of whatever members donated, & it was open to whoever asked. Another small church I attended collected
@mindbodythought My neuropathy & minor heart disease were getting to that point. With supplements & aides, life was manageable. Now, I also have some kind of uterus issue from menopause, plus myocarditis & chronic muscle fatigue. So, it's all very much feeling like a heinous crime...
@AngEngland Ah. Fortunately, these remedies are great for psychological stress too, as it also affects the body, albeit less directly than physical assaults. Muscles stiffen/tense up, including in the digestive system, heart, brain, etc. I also suggest meditation/breathing exercises. 🖖
@AngEngland (2) in a car wreck, it only took me until the next morning to feel like I couldn't move. I had to roll myself out of bed & every muscle was stiff. Pain levels varied by area. Gentle stretching helped a lot. I wasn't into soaking then; but, it's a time-honored remedy too.
@AngEngland (1) I assume that you were in a car wreck? I'm glad you're ok & would suggest that you go ahead & start enjoying hot soaks with epsom salts, lavender, etc. Also, stretch gently & regularly. The inflammation & injuries are there, even if the shock is hiding them. Last time I was
