The kind of persecution and systematic harassment the Meiteis have inflicted upon the Kukis is beyond human imagination and defies every conscience.

They chopped off our heads. They mutilated our limbs. They burned our people alive. They paraded our mothers and sisters naked in the streets.

Such savage, inhumane, and barbaric atrocities — committed against innocent Kuki civilians in the 21st century — expose a level of cruelty that no civilized world can accept. This is not conflict; this is barbarism in its purest form.

The Meiteis can cry NRC in the valley, but they have no right and no authority to impose their NRC in Kuki territory. Kuki land is not their jurisdiction.

Is the Government of India now so desperate that it’s resorting to outright lies and propaganda, as seen in this @ndtv article, to link the Kuki-Zo struggle in #Manipur to Khalistani groups? This shameless attempt to drag the Kuki-Zo community into a completely unrelated issue is nothing but a calculated distraction from the real crisis in Manipur—state-sponsored violence, systemic persecution, and the government’s failure to protect minority Kuki-Zo Christians.

@AmitShah stood in Parliament and called the Manipur conflict an “ethnic issue,” deliberately ignoring its communal and religious dimensions. But now, suddenly, the same government is peddling this absurd narrative about “Khalistani terrorists” inciting Kuki-Zo Christians? What a pathetic, transparent ploy to divert attention from the damning #BirenTapes and the Supreme Court’s scrutiny of this administration’s failures.

To @PMOIndia and @HMOIndia: your propaganda won’t work. The Kuki-Zo people are not your pawns, and we refuse to be scapegoated for your political games. Either allow the Supreme Court of India to proceed with the #BirenTapes case without interference, or face the consequences. We will not stand by as you smear our community and deny us justice. If you continue down this path, we will uphold our rights through our traditional laws and Inpi.

Enough of your lies. Enough of your oppression. The Kuki-Zo people demand accountability, and we will not rest until justice is served.

Manipur : On November 7, 2023, a Kuki family tragically lost their lives after inadvertently entering a Meitei-controlled area near Kangpokpi.

They were brutally murdered by Meitei assailants, and to this day, the body of one victim, Thangjalam, remains unaccounted for.

Disturbing footage of Thangjalam being chased and savagely butchered by the Meitei attackers circulated widely, shedding light on the horrific violence inflicted.

Meanwhile, when Meitei individuals cross into Kuki buffer zones, they are often treated with care and safety.

Recently, three members of the Arambai Tenggol, who mistakenly entered Kuki territory, were spared and kept alive by the Kuki community demonstrating a commitment to humanitarian principles even amidst
the conflict.
