🎉#WorldSexualHealthDay
💞Good sexual health is fundamental to the overall health and well-being of individuals, couples, and families.
👉Prioritizing sexual health means focusing on a central aspect of the human experience.
👨🏻‍❤️‍🧑🏻💑Sexual health spans a person's entire life—from adolescence onwards—rather than being limited to the stages of marriage and reproduction.
✅Sexual health requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the ability to have pleasurable and safe sexual experiences free from coercion, discrimination, and violence.
⚖️Achieving and maintaining sexual health requires that the sexual rights of all people be respected, protected, and upheld.

World Sexual Health Day - 4th September
📆🗓Ngày 4/9 hằng năm được chọn là Ngày Sức khỏe Tình dục Thế giới - World Sexual Health Day.
✅Sử dụng các biện pháp dự phòng an toàn.

🚨Pathogen data flows out from developing countries under the pretext of "open science," without equitable benefit sharing and at the expense of lives in the Global South.
⚠️That is the "open science" being defended by the EU, Norway, Japan & Switzerland at @WHO .
⚖️A #FairPABS needs user registration & data access agreements.
@EU_UNGeneva @SandraGallina @jmalbares @NorwayInGeneva @NorwayMFA @AsmundAukrust @JapanMissionGE @MofaJapan_en @swiss_un @SwissMFAStatSec

[AHF Vietnam @AHF_Vietnam]

Can you imagine accessing dangerous pathogen data without having to register? We register for the most mundane things in our daily lives. Why not for accessing pathogens with pandemic potential? Yet user registration is being contested by the EU & Norway in #PABS negotiations. #FairPABS
@EU_UNGeneva @SandraGallina @jmalbares @NorwayInGeneva @NorwayMFA @AsmundAukrust @JapanMissionGE @MofaJapan_en @swiss_un @SwissMFAStatSec @WHO

[AHF Vietnam @AHF_Vietnam]

Accessing pathogen data, using it to develop a product, patenting the result & profiting. The country that provided the resource has no guarantee that it will have access to the benefits. That is not scientific cooperation; that is extraction. #FairPABS
@WH@WHO @EU_UNGeneva @SandraGallina @jmalbares @NorwayInGeneva @NorwayMFA @AsmundAukrust @JapanMissionGE @MofaJapan_en @swiss_un @SwissMFAStatSec

[AHF Vietnam @AHF_Vietnam]

📢Dr. Nguyen Thu Hang, AHF Vietnam - Country Program Director, calls for equity, accountability & legal clarity in the @WHO's Pathogen Access and Benefit-Sharing System #PABS.
The EU, Norway, Japan, Switzerland and Canada must stop standing in the way of a #FairPABS.

[AHF Vietnam @AHF_Vietnam]

Ghosting isn't just a relationship problem. Affected countries share pathogen data when the world needs it. Companies patent the vaccines made from that data & sell them back at a price. No call, no credit, no vaccines. Access and benefit-sharing must go together. Demand a #FairPABS #WHO @WHO
@EU_UNGeneva @SandraGallina @jmalbares @NorwayInGeneva @NorwayMFA @AsmundAukrust @JapanMissionGE @MofaJapan_en @swiss_un @SwissMFAStatSec

[AHF Vietnam @AHF_Vietnam]

🌏80 years ago, the world recognized the right to share in scientific progress & its benefits.
🆘Today, that principle is being tested at @WHO.
❌No access to pathogen data without binding benefit-sharing.
📌Developed countries must support a #fairPABS.
