@FishyGuyOleH Thank you ! NAO was used as a proxy of food conditions in their wintering habitat (on the Canadian coasts) but we didn't find any significant effect of winter NAO on kittiwake phenology

4/4 #WTSC6 #PhenoSesh Further analyses will focus on environmental drivers. Northern Atlantic Oscillation, Subpolar Gyre & #sandeel abundance, their only high-lipid prey, can affect #kittiwake body condition at the beginning of the breeding season and delay the onset of breeding.
