The Women’s World Cup starts on 20th July in Australia & New Zealand. I was hoping to get my daughter a football magazine or guide to the tournament at my local @tesco but sadly there wasn’t a single women’s football magazine in sight. Come on @tesco! Is it going to happen?
What I really want to share this evening is that things DO get better. No matter how dark, endless and scary things seem right now. There is hope. You can recover. You can build that bond. You can smile again without it being a fake one. You will get better.

What frustrates me the most is the endless postcode lottery of perinatal mental health care and the phrase 'I was lucky..' it shouldn't ever be about luck when it comes to MH care. It should be the norm to receive the care you deserve @ the right time. No one should die #PNDHour
@PNDandMe#pndhour I saw midwife & health visitor at home and then a locum GP who told me to rest & also my regular GP who gave me antidepressants but unfortunately as I had psychosis that made things worse. I was later sectioned
#PNDHour I was really unsure about what was baby blues vs. how I https://t.co/jM2TnZhXJL was our first child & we felt so lost. Being unable to breastfeed was a huge issue for me
@PNDandMe#PNDHour There have definitely been stressful & hard times but I have tried to roll with it more and do fun stuff like sacking off home schooling to watch films occasionally or eating more puddings etc. I have probably done less lists recently as they weren’t achievable
@PNDandMe Constructing a to-do list but separating it into house work/ self-care/ ambition/ kids but only setting the amount of goals uou can realistically accomplish. And celebrate every single one you tick off. Because every win is important. #PNDHour
I quite like the idea of a 'Ta-da list' instead of a 'To-do list', On those days where you might not realise you've achieved much, you can write everything down you have done. Soon realise even on those 'non productive' days, you have achieved so much 💜💜 #PNDHour
@PNDandMe#PNDHour I like lists too, but sometimes they overwhelm me.I sometimes write a list of what I have done at the end of the day so I can tick everything off! Might be every day stuff ✅ shower ✅made dinner etc.but some days they are big achievements
