We have shown patience for years; now it’s time to hold the government accountable for implementing 5-day banking. #5DayBankingNow #AIBOC @PMOIndia https://t.co/p6EzWwf4RR

Bankers keep India connected 24×7.

But behind every transaction, target and deadline is a human being, with a family, responsibilities and a life beyond the branch.

A 5-day week was agreed in March 2024, with bankers accepting longer working hours from Monday to Friday.

The demand is reasonable. The commitment is proven. The delay is difficult to justify.

Implement 5-Day Banking now.

Staff at RBI and LIC enjoy a 5-day week; bank employees deserve the same recognition and work-life balance now. #5DayBankingNow #AIBOC @PMOIndia https://t.co/p6EzWwf4RR

Rather than prolonging this decision, it’s time for the Government to act and implement the agreed 5-day banking week. #5DayBankingNow #AIBOC

The commitment for 5-day banking has been delayed too long; it’s time for the Government to step up and take action. #5DayBankingNow #AIBOC @PMOIndia https://t.co/p6EzWwf4RR

An agreement must be honoured. A reward system must be fair.

#5DayWeekandFairPLI

The 5 Day Work Week for bank employees was agreed in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. Its implementation cannot remain pending indefinitely.

At the same time, a unilateral and discriminatory PLI framework that divides the workforce must give way to a fair, transparent and inclusive system for all employees.

Every achievement of our banks is the outcome of collective effort.

Recognition too must reflect that collective contribution.

We seek no privilege, only implementation of an agreed commitment, equality in reward and dignity at work.

@PMOIndia

[All India Bank Officers' Confederation (AIBOC) @aiboc_in]

India’s Bank employees seek two things rooted in fairness and dignity at work.
#5DayWeekandFairPLI
The demand for a 5 Day Work Week in banks is not new. It already stands agreed upon in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. What remains is its long-pending implementation.

At the same time, the unilateral and discriminatory PLI system must be abolished and replaced with a fair, transparent and inclusive framework for all employees, recognising the collective effort behind every institution’s performance.

Hardworking bank employees are not asking for privilege. They are asking for implementation of an agreement and equality in reward.

A motivated banking workforce strengthens Indian banking and the nation.

Even if captain was not performing team was having a habit of winning the T20 matches. It was a unfortunate decision to change the captain and even exclude him from the team. Now everyone forced to feel the captaincy power of SKY.
