In startups, your plan can be very very different if you are optimizing for the next $1k - $100k of revenue vs the next $1m - $100m of revenue. Most early stage companies should just worry about first but the lessons you learn about your market in this process need to be retested when optimizing for the second. In the mid stages you need to learn how to optimize for the next $1m - $100m in revenue. Just repeating what you did to get to $1m in revenue often doesn’t work.

I've never enjoyed writing CSS, but two innovations solved that:

1. Tailwind. No more wasting time coming up with class names. No more worries about globals and brittle cascading styles.

2. LLMs. They're great at writing Tailwind, so I just tell the LLM what I want.
