Your bills need a payer, not a prayer. That is why you must be prudent with your money. Better to be a stingy person who knows a lot of beggars than to be a beggar who knows many stingy persons. Giving people money so they won't call you stingy is like giving a goat your yak so it will not steal it. The day you don't provide that goat yam is the very day it will steal your yam. And the day you don't give money to an ingrate who begs you is the day he will forget the ninety-nine times you gave and tag you 'stingy' for the one time you didn't give!
