A golden chapter in India's para sports journey! 🥇
Congratulations to Sharmila Dhankar on creating history with a Gold medal in the Women's Shot Put F57 event at #CWG2026.
Wishing you continued success and many more laurels for India.
Some are mocking Apollo Hospitals for Ram Charan choosing Coimbatore based Ganga Hospitals for his wrist surgery.
There is no need to mock Apollo and understand more about Ganga.
Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore is one of South Asia’s largest and most specialised centres for orthopaedics, trauma, hand & wrist surgery, and microsurgery.
That's why Ram Charan chose it for his complex wrist surgery despite his wife Upasana’s family links to Apollo Hospitals. Ganga Hospitals has unmatched expertise in such cases.
Dr S. Rajasekaran, Chairman of Orthopaedics, Trauma & Spine Surgery, has been ranked by Stanford University among the top 1% of global researchers contributing to orthopaedic surgery.
Ganga Hospital handles extremely high volumes of complex limb and hand cases with world class outcomes.
Given the growing healthcare ecosystem, Coimbatore is rapidly emerging as a major medical tourism destination in India.
Coimbatore is also now among the most preferred cities in India for retirement.
Be it education, healthcare, industries, entrepreneurship, quality of life, technology or retirement - Coimbatore is an all rounder that is yet to receive the full recognition it deserves.
Sometimes we miss critical news flows.
Do you know that Indian engineers are already designing chips about 7 process generations ahead of what our country can currently manufacture?
A few months ago, Qualcomm finished the final design stage (tape-out) of a cutting edge 2nm chip, with major work done by its teams in Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad, now its biggest design hub outside the US.
That chip still has to be manufactured in a foreign factory, as India doesn’t yet have advanced fabs.
Meanwhile, the big Tata fab coming up in Dholera (₹91,000 crore project) is expected to start with much older technology like 28nm (or even mature 90nm first) and aims for early silicon later this year or into 2027–28.
So Indian engineers are already designing chips far ahead of what the country can currently manufacture.
Design talent moved faster than the factories, and that quiet achievement of our brilliant engineers is the real positive story.
Another glorious chapter in Indian Weightlifting!
The talented Mirabai Chanu once again showcased her skills at the Commonwealth Games with a stunning performance in the 48 kg category and winning Gold. With back-to-back Commonwealth Games Golds and an overall fourth CWG medal to her name, she remains an inspiration for every Indian. Congratulations to her! Best wishes for the endeavours ahead. #CWG2026

India's Double Strike at the ISSF World Cup 🇮🇳
Esha Singh and Manu Bhaker made a marvellous display of their talent by winning the gold and bronze medals, respectively, in the Women's 25 m Pistol event at the ISSF World Cup 2026. Their resolute determination and unmistakable precision, even under immense pressure, reflected the indomitable spirit of India. Many congratulations to both of them.

Homer’s Odyssey is filled with terrifying monsters; Cyclops, Scylla, Charybdis, the Sirens.
But the one who steals the most time from Odysseus is Calypso.
She doesn’t threaten him with death. She offers comfort, safety, love and keeps him from Ithaca for seven years.
Maybe that’s Homer’s deepest lesson: the greatest obstacles in life don’t always look like monsters. Sometimes, they look like comfort.
Hardships test our courage. Comfort tests our purpose.
Maybe real monsters in life don’t look like monsters !!
A historic feat at the 2026 World Junior Squash Championship.
Proud of Anahat Singh for winning the Gold Medal and becoming the first Indian squash player ever to win the World Junior Championship title. This accomplishment will further popularise squash among the youth.

I am pleased with my performance and truly humbled to win my third consecutive Commonwealth Games gold medal at Glasgow. This being my fourth CWG appearance makes this achievement even more special.
I would like to thank everyone for your unwavering support.

Google also distilled Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint by running testing files to build compatibility.
Microsoft distilled WordPerfect & Lotus. WordPerfect distilled WordStar.
Microsoft C++ and Borland C++ distilled each other.
BSD distilled Unix.
The list is infinite.
On this auspicious day of Ashada Ekadashi, I am very happy to announce the launch of my humble attempt to make history interesting.

The idea is actually very very simple
You go to the site, select a year, and It will show you who ruled which part of India at that point in time.
There is a 14 year old who raised VC money to build an aerospace company.
There is a 19 year old building missiles.
I met tier-4 college students who
built autonomous drones for an ISRO competition and beat around 1000 teams to reach the finals.
The energy is electric but it is mostly an underground movement still. But a storm
is brewing and in about 5 years time a wave of these companies will hit the world like a tsunami.

ANAHAT SINGH REACHES HER MAIDEN JR WORLD JR CHAMPIONSHIPS FINALS!
Becomes only the 2nd Indian to reach Jr World's finals (after Joshna's 2005 effort)
Beat 🇪🇬 Barb Sameh 3-1 in SF to achieve this feat!
No Indian has ever won Jr World's title. Can she do it?

This is one of the most underrated books on exercise no one has read.
The concept is there is no “one exercise to rule all” but a set of exercises that corresponds with your body type (ex. Limb length, insertion points etc)
Great book for people who want to find the right exercises for their body.
Ten years apart. At my 50th and 60th. Same place. Same date. Same shirt. A lot changed between 50 and 60. Hair. Faces. Priorities. Perspective.
One thing didn’t. A deeper friendship with the person standing beside me.
That feels like the best birthday gift.
The fastest way to improve your life is to sign up for a physical side quest. It could be a race, competition, event. Really anything. Maybe a marathon, Hyrox, long hike, or a weekend rafting trip. Something that scares you just a little bit. Just enough to spark action. Your day becomes more structured with the training for the side quest. You sleep deeper because you're tired from the training. You eat cleaner because your body wants the healthy fuel. You look better from the movement. You feel better from the momentum. Everything falls into alignment around the one small decision to sign up for that event. So, what's your side quest going to be?
