I’m convinced that the most underrated trait in life is the willingness to change your mind. Certainty isn't strength. The most impressive people change their minds often in response to new information. It’s a software update. The goal isn't to be right. It's to find the truth.
For anyone who has not yet read this :-
@SahilBloom has some of the best articles on x, my fav will always be the 35 things i learned at 35
really helpful for everyone imo
i disagree for anyone who's my age
if you're in your 20's and not working as hard as you can then that will def be a problem
a person working 80 hours a week will get done double the amount of work then someone working normal shift
with that being said its very imp to get good sleep :)
At times I’ve thought certainty was the goal.
@SahilBloom reframed it for me: uncertainty is the norm, and the one who can tolerate the most of it wins.
You don’t trust the plan. You trust your preparation. Thank you for this, Sahil.
what’s next?
my time at Wander has come to an end. it’s been the best 1.5 years of my life.
i got to work with a great team and learn so much from awesome people. it’s still hard to believe i won’t be waking up to 10 slack mentions on a monday morning. i’ll miss saying “is my mic audible?” while i’m on mute in a huddle.
so, what now?
honestly? “i have no idea” is what i’d never say. i’ve got a little book full of ideas i’ve been collecting, and i’m going all in on them now. posting actively on x again.
i won’t be looking for a job. instead i’ll spend my time building something exceptional and useful :)
I hope you all will look forward to the builder mannas version
