@Alex870192@KarlMarxFan18@testosteroneHAV And if you really think it is all equal no matter who is doing the discriminating and who holds the levers of power in intersocial discriminations, why don't you just go chuck an All Lives Matter shirt on too lmao
@Alex870192@KarlMarxFan18@testosteroneHAV You are moving the goal posts though, you said that being recipient of hate crimes en masse is systemic violence. You also do not give a shit when it is actual systemic violence against other groups anyway.
@thefurlinator@Alex870192@KarlMarxFan18@testosteroneHAV Because the entire bogeyman of antisemitism as its presented is the looming threat of institutional violence against Jews, hence the constant invoking of a new Holocaust every time a Jew has a bad day
@shroomsocialist Hasan: "So, here's where you and I differ on this issue. Those same Jews pay me a shit load of money to funnel voters back to milquetoast democratic socialists and I would die for them."
@Alex870192@KarlMarxFan18@testosteroneHAV How is that systemic? How is the US government, US institutions and the legal code of the United States discriminatory against Jewish people? What hate crimes is the system perpetrating against them?
@PulseAttacks@MawkAnthony@Nightbaron12@madcap412@hasanthehun Do you think the development team just ignored the executives and people in charge of funding allocation at the company so they could make their bad game against corporate wishes? Or do you u think a boardroom decided DEI 2: The Game would sell like hotcakes to the gay market
@HolyMolyBologna@hasanthehun I don't think the post at all implies that the genre of the game is what's killing it, but that the CEO justifiying a massive bonus for himself while also firing devs to cut costs is the problem
"if my family hadn't left Germany, I'd be a lamp shade," says Alex Karp.
first of all, he'd be more useful to humanity as a lampshade.
second, how long do we have to keep listening to this nonsense?
@TheCider102@TKsMantis Yeah the problem at Bethesda is definitely the employees and not the way the higher-ups poorly manage the funding and choose terrible projects for their employees to work on.
@gbrgunsup76@TKsMantis Like it wasn't the devs idea to not make ES6/FO5, it was quite clearly the decision of executives and shareholders who preferred the profits of MMOs and creation club purchases because it was less effort than a new game and still made huge returns for fat cats.
@gbrgunsup76@TKsMantis Do you not see the difference between blaming that on the devs (who are paid to develop product) versus blaming that on the controlling capital at Bethesda (the guys who are in charge of making decisions, allocating funding and acquiring project investments who milked ESO/FO76)
