@AugustCohen4@PaulKagame We all start from somewhere.
Where were you in 1994 when more than one million people were slaughtered and the USA was watching, the US government then said that the cost of cutting off RTLM over its networks was higher .
I wish it was about lasting peace and stability
Yet again you deliberately hit the wrong button to cover up weaknesses if not murky businesses with those corrupt officials in Kinshasa selling out their country’s everything…Always the wrong target means more question marks ⁉️ But since you control the narratives….you also pull the strings for the wind to blow your way. I wished I could be wrong.
@US_SrAdvisorAF You simply want to make DRC Government happy. But we, the people, don’t see your impartiality as a mediator.
1994 will not repeat itself again. However, Never again can only be made real by the people whose lives depend upon their actions not observers.

If your story is left untold, evil will flourish, and truth will fade into silence alongside it.
You are similar; you have shared situations, journeys, and loss.
You are still in love for your homeland, yet it is marred by cruelty and violence
So, you are in the middle of another troubled journey.
This new phase has many paths from which more loss can come.
And yet doors will be open to your dreams and hopes
The dream of belonging, of safety, of freedom to be;
The dream that your kin will be safe and free.
In your many journeys of persecution, you turned and ran from the massacre.
There were many losses of your kin
They wanted you buried alive too.
They failed to extinguish you; they sent drones to kill, targeting you for your faces and your language.
And all these journeys left you stripped of language, of knowing how to be; the fear in your eyes spoke of your loss.
You heard the stories of lies about your identity
These stories planted fear in your eyes.
Your determination to live made you climb the steps that made the fear go away.
Your tears are no longer visible; you have grown numb to deaths
You want to prove the lies behind their fear to be untrue.
Their lie said your language did not belong, so you dived deep into its sounds and discovered a language whole and living, woven into who you are.
Their lie said you look different and unworthy, your spirit accepts their own physical features.
Their lie said that you would hurt them, so you sought to bring peace through a kaleidoscope of knowledge and values.
In moments of despair, anger and fear, of not knowing what next, there are hands holding you, wishing you well.
Don’t forget that you are worthy.
Your resilience is a testament to your love for humanity.
Your story is shared and told and retold – it honours your loss;
Yet your loss is never gone; it is in your breath, in your eyes, in your steps, it is your struggle.
If your story is left untold, evil will flourish, and truth will fade into silence alongside it.

@MaxNdayizeye Truth is not an end in itself.
Building lasting change requires more than just condemnation.
If you’re rejecting one system, you should also be prepared to discuss realistic and workable alternatives.
Other than that, you’re contributing to another failure.
“Confronting historical responsibilities requires real courage, because it generates fierce opposition by those with a case to answer. You need a strong sense of humanity to see it through. President Macron, I want to commend you on both counts: courage and humanity.
You acknowledged that France could have stopped the genocide, but did not. In response, I described your words as something more valuable than an apology: namely, the truth. This door was first opened by President Nicolas Sarkozy, and I wish to commend him today.
The Genocide against the Tutsi was foreseeable, and in fact foreseen, and France was in a unique position to observe and to act. It took too long for France to come to terms with its role, causing additional pain. And on some points, we still have not found consensus. I fully understand the feelings of those survivors and advocates, who remain dissatisfied with the official record. But I believe that our common work has initiated a journey towards truth, which is irreversible.
And France was not alone in falling short, far from it. Many other countries did so as well, but none has gone as far as France in setting the record straight and accepting its part in the tragedy.” President Kagame | Inauguration of Monument in Paris honouring the victims of the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi.

Congratulations to our #VisitRwanda partner Paris Saint-Germain @PSG_inside on their well-deserved UEFA @ChampionsLeague title and on being crowned champions for the second consecutive year.
Congratulations as well to @Arsenal on reaching the final and fighting with determination until the very end.
Both clubs have made their supporters proud, but tonight, PSG proved to be the better team!
Iconic weekend for Rwanda & sports. Sport is talent, joy, jobs, tourism, investment and global visibility. Rwanda is proud to be part of building that future for Rwandans and for Africa. Africans shine in global sport and should definitely share in its business.
Warm regards from the finals. #Twaje.
