The best hires are the ones you can delegate outcomes to, not tasks. Good hires come back with smart questions about the next step. Great ones just get the job done.
@saleskhalifa with LLM. I think a simply using Spec Driven Development goes a long way.
Although all of this was possible because I’m a SDE, it might not be that much difficult for an ordinary person to pick up the skills required to extract value out of LLMs.
@saleskhalifa I disagree. I use both enterprise AI ( Office ) and Claude Pro & Deepseek ( Personal ).
With just Claude Pro and DeepSeek
I created courses for learning RAG, Agent & Workflow building and such.
I built multiple projects such as Browser native RAG for markdown -
@saleskhalifa Music learning app, Global Stability indicator, Blood work processing app and much more.
I constantly fetch data and build visualisations for different scenarios such as Job market, Economy etc.,
So I don’t think you need a enterprise AI account to understand and experiment -
Had a wealthy friend tell me that the ability to decrease time to any outcome is the one skill behind every successful person he knows.
A few I apply constantly:
- Decreasing the time it takes you to get out of a bad state will make you emotionally resilient
- Decreasing the time it takes you to go from idea to executive will make you wealthy
- Decreasing the time it takes you to turn a failure into a lesson will thicken your skin faster than anything else
Every man eventually discovers that competence is the only real stabilizer of self-esteem; no amount of praise, affirmation, or philosophical comfort can replace the confidence that comes from knowing you can produce results even when conditions are hostile.
wise words from the best systems engineer I've worked with:
"two things that make code actually maintainable:
1. reduce the layers a reader has to trace
2. reduce the state a reader has to hold in their head"
applies to every codebase. always.
Never apologize for being obsessed.
Stay in the gym for three hours.
Pull an all-nighter for your business.
Read your new book the entire day.
Positive obsession is a gift, not a behavior to be suppressed.
RIP Scott Adams. I hope this inspiring quote of his lives forever:
“I have poor art skills, mediocre business skills, good but not great writing talent, and an early knowledge of the Internet. And I have a good but not great sense of humor. I’m like one big mediocre soup. None of my skills are world-class, but when my mediocre skills are combined, they become a powerful market force.”
i was tired of stupid people on road so i hacked my helmet into a traffic police device 🚨
while i ride, ai agent runs in near real time, flags violations, and proof with location & no plate goes straight to police.
blr people - so now ride safe… or regret it.
