INDIA 🇮🇳 NEEDS A MASSIVE CIVIC MOVEMENT.
Even as the largest growing major economy, India continues to be one of the filthiest nations with corrupt, non-functional municipalities, terrible urban infrastructure, shockingly bad civic and traffic sense, and no punishment for treating the country like a dump yard, either for officials or citizens.
Unless civic governance and civic sense is fixed, I’m afraid we will remain the Third World.

Santosh Pandit is being treated like a terrorist for doing what 150 crore Indians are too scared to do. Silence him today, and nobody asks tomorrow.

सड़कों पर गड्ढे, सीवरेज और ड्रेनेज पर वीडियो बनाकर सरकार की पोल खोलोगे तो "आतंकवादी" घोषित करके गिरफ्तार कर लिया जाएगा!

You cannot piss anywhere and mark it as your territory.
Civic activist Santosh Pandit has reportedly been detained by Pune Police after repeatedly highlighting dangerous potholes, open manholes and poor road conditions across the city. His demonstrations brought attention to the everyday risks faced by commuters.
The incident has sparked questions online about civic accountability. When citizens raise concerns over public safety, the response should be to fix the problem, not silence the person pointing it out. 🙏
