@littmath I’m happy with no credit, no egos, no ownership. This spirit exists in many pockets of math, which can be remarkably utopian and honest.The AI industry’s focus on claiming solutions, posting without understanding, omitting references, context, insights is orthogonal to it.

@predict_addict My experience in math PhD programs in the US is that successful undergraduates from top public universities in Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and Chile have much better foundations (by far) than say, undergrads from mid tier strong state schools in the US.

@JAlexRoL La física cuántica utiliza como herramientas básicas lo que mencionas. Pero estas áreas se han desarrollado en el contexto de QFT a una serie de herramientas que ya se pueden denominar como mates cuanticas: geom simpléctica y compleja, tqfts, invariantes cuanticas de nudos, etc…

@JAlexRoL @UNALOficial @petrogustavo Hola, nota aclaratoria: sí existen ramas de la matemática que se denominan “matemáticas cuánticas” como álgebra cuántica, topología cuántica. Son ramas teóricas que esencialmente nacen de las dificultades técnicas que aparecen en intentos de hacer QFT una teoría rigurosa.
