Omid, I watched the full 24 minutes as well. Matt clearly put effort into the video and he raises a few valid points, but some of his conclusions go further than the available evidence.
A few things that are accurate in his analysis, like the school is very close to a real IRGC naval facility in Minab. Also, early reporting relied heavily on regime-linked or low-credibility local sources, which should always be treated cautiously in wartime.

Additionally it’s reasonable to question narratives that circulate before proper geolocation or weapons analysis is done.
Those are fair observations.

But there are also important weaknesses in his conclusion: Independent OSINT and weapons experts who reviewed the strike footage assessed the missile as very likely a Tomahawk. The United States is the only actor in this conflict known to use Tomahawk land-attack cruise missiles. Evidence shows a strike on the IRGC facility adjacent to the school, not proof that the school itself was an IRGC site. Proximity to a military facility does not automatically turn a school into a military target.

Also, while @angertab is a U.S. Army Special Forces veteran, that does not make him an expert in missile identification, strike forensics, or battle-damage assessment. Those fields rely on specialists in weapons systems, satellite analysis, and munitions engineering.

For me the principle is simple:
If the IRGC murder civilians, we should say it.
If any other military kills civilians, we should say that too.

Holding everyone accountable for civilian deaths is not anti-Iran, anti-America, or anti-Israel. It’s simply being pro-humanity.

Otherwise we risk doing exactly what the regime does: ignoring facts when they are inconvenient to our side. And if we start doing that, what exactly is the difference between us and the regime’s propagandists?

For many of us Iranians, watching what is happening in our country right now brings emotions that don’t sit neatly together. Anger, grief, fear for our families, hope for change, and a deep sense of helplessness can all live in the same heart at the same time.

Some believe the war is necessary if it means the end of a regime that has oppressed people for decades. Others cannot accept the suffering war brings to ordinary lives. Some of us are inside Iran facing the uncertainty every day; others are far away, carrying the heavy guilt of distance while our parents, friends, and loved ones live through it.

Iranian people deserve to control their fate, free from the murderous ayatollahs. But targeting fuel depots & infrastructure? That cripples ordinary Iranians now—gas shortages, skyrocketing prices, blackouts, suffering for families like mine still inside.

Destroy the oil economy you say will rebuild post-regime, however targeting then make life hell today while giving mullahs propaganda to rally around. It backfires, hardens support for them, delays the collapse we all want.

We need pressure on regime thugs, not more pain for the people.

This tragic strike on the Shajareh Tayyebeh girls’ school in Minab, Iran, killing 165-180 mostly innocent children, demands a full investigation.

Those who authorized strikes so close to civilians must be held accountable. We can’t claim to protect people from the ayatollahs and regime dogs while hitting the same innocents.

If this probe stalls with no accountability, it’ll prove all talk of protecting civilians was a hoax.

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 BREAKING:

Multiple media outlets are confirming what Iran's been saying: A U.S. Tomahawk missile hit the Shajareh Tayyebeh girls' elementary school in Minab.

Death toll: 165-180, mostly children aged 7-12.

Israel doesn't possess Tomahawk missiles. Only the United States does.

Also the school is in Southern Iran, a U.S. operational zone during the February 28 strikes (Israel was operating in the North)

The strike was double-tap: Hit once. School principal moved surviving students to the prayer hall and called parents to pick them up. Then they hit the prayer hall.

Most of the children who'd taken shelter were killed in the second strike.

Trump claimed it was Iran that bombed their own school. Bellingcat's geolocation and missile verification proves that's false.

Pentagon's now "investigating" but U.S. Central Command already told reporters it's "likely" U.S. forces were responsible.

The school was near an IRGC facility. 200 meters away according to satellite imagery.

And over a decade ago, it was part of the IRGC compound

Seems the U.S. made a very costly error, one that cost the lives of many children.

This is a perfect example of why wars are not always the best solution to dealing with criminal regimes, especially when the objective is regime change.
