@KingOfHighlandd @MovieNerdzz @Brolio69 Tobey didn't fight Hulk, he resists telepathic attacks, he has a power-up, he's fought against aliens, and he's withstood a hammer blow from Kull Obsidian.
@brandnewangell In fact, it's quite the opposite; in his very first appearance, he has the power of Charles or an Omega-level mutant. When he debuts, he will completely overshadow the other X-Men in power.
@ViLLADAwxICoSH@jthecoolcat@cosmic_marvel Well, I suppose that's how you interpreted it, but yes, they're clearly avoiding using two Peter Parkers as protagonists since, outside of animated films, they haven't said "Peter Parker" yet.
@KFP_Fanboy@UtdGotham@CultureCrave@MattBelloni No, there are several Knulls in the comics. Here's how Carnage kills one Knull and takes his powers, and again you're using comic book logic to apply to movies when you don't know if they'll adapt it that way in the movies.
@ViLLADAwxICoSH@jthecoolcat@cosmic_marvel Precisely because I referred to Tobey and Andrew, who starred in their respective films, I thought it was implied that they have some limitations with Peter Parker in live-action films, and therefore it's difficult to see Tobey or Andrew starring in films.
@ViLLADAwxICoSH@jthecoolcat@cosmic_marvel Well, I'm specifying that in general they can't apparently use Peter Parker as the protagonist in the movies, since I assume they can only use Tom Holland, I assume to avoid confusing the audience or perhaps due to a legal agreement with Marvel
@ViLLADAwxICoSH@jthecoolcat@cosmic_marvel Those movies used recycled footage from other films, and they weren't even called "Peter Parker" versions. And I reiterate my point: it's clear they don't want multiple Peter Parkers as protagonists, maybe in cameos. That's why their Spider-Man Noir is called Ben Reilly.
@ViLLADAwxICoSH@jthecoolcat@cosmic_marvel Tell them, but clearly there's something preventing them from using another live-action version of Peter Parker, perhaps an internal creative agreement or something legal, but it's clear that Sony doesn't plan to have two active Peter Parkers as protagonists in film
@Real_badda@Mark4158847527@cosmic_marvel It seems you didn't read carefully because I clearly specified, "the only Peter who will star in movies," and that's true because Tom stars in that movie. Neither Marvel nor Sony is interested in or will make The Amazing Spider-Man 3, while they are already on tom's fourth film
@Real_badda@Mark4158847527@cosmic_marvel Peter Parker from another universe wasn't the protagonist of No Way Home; the protagonist of No Way Home is the Peter Parker of the MCU. If you're talking about that, then yes, Andrew will appear as Peter in cameos, but never again as the protagonist in a movie.
@Real_badda@Mark4158847527@cosmic_marvel And you prove my point: in No Way Home, Andrew isn't the protagonist; he's barely a cameo at the end, and his role is precisely to support Tom, who is the one and only Peter Parker in film, the one and only Peter Parker who will star in movies.
@KFP_Fanboy@UtdGotham@CultureCrave@MattBelloni Marvel has never confirmed that Thor's sword, the Necrosword, is the same as Knull's sword; they are completely different in design. The Venom that appears at the end of No Way Home is from the Sony universe, where Knull exists, not from the MCU.
@KFP_Fanboy@UtdGotham@CultureCrave@MattBelloni He's not a multiversal god. Where did they get that idea? Knull has nothing to do with Spider-Man, and Marvel hasn't canonized him in the MCU. It's that simple. The severed head on Knowhere could have been cut off by some other Celestial, but Marvel has never said it was Knull.
