@the_hindu We don’t want to address the real issues rather manage them … how can we ever improve? Marketing and cosmetic stuff cannot work for everything and everytime. The govt does not believe that students have an issue and rather believes it’s a communication issue.

@TheLallantop Can laws prevent paper leaks? Did stricter laws for rape and murder have prevented crimes?It’s the swift intervention and assured punishment and not the quantum of punishment which matters.Every time politicians do this and people get fooled. Problem is bad police and poor courts

@DrDatta_AIIMS I am not that old but have observed very little change following these protests and politicians are not the root cause of problems but rather people amongst us sitting in power positions of any sort like mini kingdoms who need to change. Vested interests make us v v selfish.

In 1997, this man was the ABVP National Secretary and was just about to join the Bharatiya Janata Party. There was a paper leak in Odisha and there was a major protest. This man participated in them. He was beaten by the police.

"We staged a protest against the Odisha government, in front of the secretariat. Around 1,500 students joined us there. While the protest was peaceful, the police charged against the activists. He was badly beaten up at that time. He had a few fractures too."

Who is he? Mr Dharmendra Pradhan. Imagine that Dharmendra Pradhan was protesting against paper leaks in 1997 and was beaten!

There is an amazing Indian Express article about him. Linked below. The irony? One of the interviewees says:

"under Pradhan's regime, the students will have more scope for dissent. "It is natural for students to be anti-establishment."

Guys, I’ve spent my life spotting where technology is headed before it becomes obvious.

The system many of these wonderful students in India are trying to fix is already becoming obsolete. The NEET paper leak is not the real problem-it’s just the symptom.

The deeper problem is a culture that tolerates lying, cheating, and nepotism. Until we address those root causes, fixing one exam or one paper leak won’t fix the system. That’s just the tip of the iceberg.

This study evaluated angiographic predictors of postoperative neovascularization following encephaloduroarteriosynangiosis (EDAS) in adults with moyamoya disease. Higher Suzuki stage and progressive arterial occlusion were associated with better neovascularization, whereas robust contralateral interhemispheric collaterals predicted poorer collateral formation. These findings highlight the importance of preoperative angiographic assessment for patient selection and revascularization planning.
