“Whose authority? The Old Testament? The New Testament? The Koran? People choose the book considered holy by the community in which they are born, and out of that book they choose the parts they like, ignoring the others. As soon as we abandon our own reason, and are content to rely upon authority, there is no end to our troubles. And so, even when we have a sacred book, we still choose as truth whatever suits our own prejudices.”

This is code red. Trump is not screwing around. We will lose this country unless we are vigilant with what’s going on in terms of election security.
WAKE UP PEOPLE! Trump is coming after democracy as we know it.
One of the world’s best athletes ever, the Swedish-American pole vaulter Armand Duplantis criticizes the IOC for its decision to let Russian athletes compete in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics:
“Nothing has changed (with the war). It’s just getting worse. I really don’t understand their decision. Honestly…”
BREAKING: French Senator Claude Malhuret TORCHES Trump and his alcoholic, drug-addicted administration on the floor of the Luxembourg Palace: "Every time the Epstein affair resurfaces, bombs explode somewhere in the world and cause a distraction!"
This might be the greatest MAGA takedown of all time. Nobody was spared...
"A year ago, here in France, I compared Trump's presidency to Nero's Court. I was wrong. It's the miracle court. An anti-vaxxer, former heroin addict as Minister of Health," he said, referring to RFK Jr.
Malhuret's comparison to the mad Emperor Nero is fitting. It's said that he fiddled while Rome burned. In Trump's case, he's building a ballroom while the entire world goes up in flames.
"A climate-skeptic Minister of Economy. An alcoholic TV host, Minister of the Armed Forces," Malhuret continued, referring to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
"An old Qatar agent, Minister of Justice. A groupie of Putin, Minister of National Security," Malhuret went on, referring to Attorney General Pam Bondi and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. Bondi previously worked for the Ballard Partners firm which raked in $115,000 a month by lobbying on behalf of Qatar.
"A Turkish proverb says 'When a clown settles in a palace, he does not become king, it is the palace that becomes a circus," said Malhuret. "His fine team has decided to create a competitor to the UN. Since the creation of the Board of Peace, Trump has triggered more military strikes than Biden during his entire term."
"Every time the Epstein affair resurfaces, bombs explode somewhere in the world and cause a distraction," he continued. "Bomb more to win more."
This is how the world now sees the American president: as a pedophile desperately exploiting his role as commander-in-chief to obscure the fact that he preyed on children with his long-time pal Jeffrey Epstein.
"There isn't a single country where Trump did not take advantage of the situation to enrich himself without ever forgetting his family. A Boeing plane offered by Qatar," he said, referring to the $400 million jet that Qatar "gifted" to Trump. "Investment in all Gulf projects or elsewhere. Stock market manipulation that only a few insiders benefit from."
"Any one of these conflicts of interest would have caused an immediate procedure of impeachment here," Malhuret. "But we are not here. We are in MAGA's America where public business is conducted in favor of private interests."
Rarely have we heard such an exhaustive yet succinct distillation of the Trump administration's rampant criminality and incompetence. By focusing on individual Cabinet members and what makes them uniquely unfit for office and then expanding the aperture to the broader patterns of corruption and malignancy, Malhuret delivered a master class in political messaging.
Every mainstream outlet in the U.S. should be running this speech to show Americans what the world thinks of our leaders.
Since they won't, please make sure to like and share to spread this far and wide!
Relentless Russian disinformation and a saturated global news cycle have blinded Western audiences to the horrifying scale of the war in Ukraine.
Despite years of media coverage, almost everyone outside of Ukraine massively underestimates the catastrophic human toll of the conflict (including the number of civilian deaths).
Even well-meaning, pro-Ukrainian Europeans frequently fall into the trap of viewing this as a relatively clean war with minimal civilian targeting. The data tells a vastly different story, with total casualties over the last four and a half years reaching an estimated 2 million people, roughly split between two-thirds Russian and one-third Ukrainian.
While the conflicts are fundamentally different, a purely numerical look at the war in Gaza helps illustrate this unseen magnitude (because most people are aware that many civilians died in Gaza).
In Gaza, more than two years of war resulted in at least 75,811 reported total deaths by May 2026. Meanwhile, the Uppsala Conflict Data Program indicates that the brief three-month siege of Mariupol alone claimed between 27,000 and 88,000 lives (mostly civilians).
Despite having a population five times smaller than Gaza, Mariupol likely endured a similar or even higher death toll in a fraction of the time. Zooming out, the total casualty figure for the war in Ukraine is equal to the entire population of the Gaza Strip.
This is not a moral comparison but a reality check for a Western public distracted by competing crises.
Moscow actively hides its atrocities and masks civilian deaths within occupied zones, but the sheer volume of victims demands that the West finally acknowledge the true scale of this genocide
ICE killed a father of three yesterday and no one is talking about it.
Lorenzo Salgado Araujo spent 35 years in Houston building homes and raising a family.
According to people interviewed, every night after work you'd find him on his porch, listening to music, petting his dog. He helped his three kids (U.S. Citizens) get through college.
It certainly seems that he was doing everything right, and then a federal agent shot him dead during a stop and his own son found out from a Facebook video, recognizing his father's voice as he lay bleeding in the street.
His son says that if his father had recognized any sign of law enforcement, he would have complied without question.
DHS says he "tried to run him over." This is the exact same lie they used to justify murdering Renee Good, a mother of three.
We are being asked to trust a rogue, lawless agency's word over a dead man's family, again, with no body cam release and no independent investigation.
Everyone should be outraged.
Time to boycott the Olympics:
Committing genocide is something that the International Olympics Committee seems to like to reward, as it wants to include Russia in the 2028 LA games.
The IOC is a trash organization. It has just provisionally lifted its suspension on the Russian athletic program, paving the way for their bloodthirsty competitors to return to international play.
This means that instead of a small handful of ”neutral” athletes (many of them were not actually neutral) like we saw in recent events, a massive team of hundreds of bloodthirsty Russian athletes could soon be headed to the next summer games in LA.
It is a huge mistake and a stark reminder of what a trash organization the IOC really is. Russia is actively committing genocide in Ukraine and should face absolute isolation, not a red carpet.
If they are allowed to participate, people across Europe must take a stand. Time to boycott the events, and I will absolutely be choosing to do so myself

China has proven itself to be a direct enemy of Europe by operating as Russia's most vital enabler in Ukraine.
Because our political leaders remain too weak and cowardly to protect us from China, the most realistic and powerful way to strike back is to stop buying products and services from Chinese companies.
A total boycott of everything "Made in China" is unrealistic, but cutting off Chinese-owned corporations is much easier and has an immediate, devastating impact on China.
Russia's invasion is entirely dependent on Chinese backing. Beijing has sustained the Russian economy, supplied critical dual-use technology, shared sensitive intelligence, and even allowed its proxy North Korea to send military hardware and troops to the front. They are actively funding a war on European soil, yet we continue to reward them with our daily spending.
Since our leadership refuses to enforce strict sanctions, individual actions must fill the void. We have to start recognizing Chinese-owned tech giants and services as hostile entities.
Many people feel overwhelmed because they think they have to stop buying anything stamped with a "Made in China" label. That is a myth. The real goal should be avoiding Chinese-owned brands altogether. Buying an Apple or Samsung device that was put together in China does not enrich Beijing the same way that purchasing directly from a Chinese corporation like Huawei or Honor does.
By making this single, conscious shift in our buying habits, we can strip away the corporate revenue that Beijing uses to subsidize Russia's military ambitions.
It is time for European citizens to show the courage that their politicians completely lack
My heart is with the people of Ukraine. For the past few years, we've dedicated this moment during The Rhythm of My Heart to the strength, courage and resilience of the Ukrainian people. Every night, the crowd joins together in support. In light of the recent horrific attacks on Kyiv, I hope this small tribute reminds you that people all over the world continue to stand with you.
Truly great words about Poland and Ukraine fro Polish PM Donald Tusk 🇵🇱🇺🇦:
“Ukraine and Poland cannot be anything but partners and friends. Any political dispute between us is a mistake that serves only those who want to weaken both our nations.
We share a common responsibility for the security of Europe, and we must not allow history or internal tensions to destroy what we have built together in response to Russian aggression.”
Time to bury the Volhyna and UPA issue and also bury Russia together.
A straight red card in the World Cup normally means two things: you're sent off immediately, and you automatically miss the next match.
After US player Folarin Balogun was sent off against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Donald Trump called FIFA president Infantino and asked him to review the suspension.
Days later, FIFA made the unprecedented decision to let Balogun play against Belgium anyway.
I always knew FIFA was corrupt, but this is next-level bullshit.
