“If you have really handed yourself over to Him, it must follow that you are trying to obey Him…Not hoping to get to Heaven as a reward for your actions, but inevitably wanting to act in a certain way because a first faint gleam of Heaven is already inside you.”

“What can you ever really know of other people's souls — of their temptations, their opportunities, their struggles? One soul in the whole of creation you do know: and it is the only one whose fate is placed in your hands.”

“Of course God does not consider you hopeless. If He did, He would not be moving you to seek Him (and He obviously is)."

Such kind words my bro.....love your passion for our King and His Kingdom!

[Manxinneen @manxinneen]

@tobymac This was so obvious to me and I'm so sorry people freaked out and jumped to conclusions and tried to make it into something it wasn't. Love the creativity and the wholesome symbolism in your recent videos.

Coaches MUST pay attention to the athletes, ESPECIALLY on day 1 of practice. Did each athlete report in top condition (doubtful)? Did they obviously gain weight? So why run them hard on day 1? Pull them out. If they lose their playing spot so be it. Not their life!

[Laurie @lahriegirl]

Coaches must pay attention to their players-kids-and not be so focused on beating them into shape. A lineman should NEVER be expected to run with QB’s & WR’s. You wouldn’t train bulldogs the same as greyhounds. Use your brain-YOU ARE THE ADULT IN CHARGE.

Defeating hurricane Matthew aftermath. Sign in front of First Baptist Church, Bonifay, Florida. (Hwy79) City power is out. Local grocery stores donating food to cook at the church to feed the community. This is true Christianity at work.

[C. S. Lewis @CSLewisDaily]

"…If God were proud He would hardly have us on such terms: but He is not proud, He stoops to conquer, He will have us even though we have shown that we prefer everything else to Him, and come to Him because there is 'nothing better' now to be had.”

This has been a difficult week. Zach’s birthday was the 6th & he would have been 18, starting his Senior year, and looking forward to choosing a college to major in forensic science. Always a protector. #72 <3 #EHS #NOTONEMORE

"You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him & kill him as a demon or you can fall at his feet & call him Lord & God, but let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to."
