Today, the Vice Chancellor of St Paul’s University (Rev Prof James Kombo), Kenya opened two weeks of joint workshops (with ACEPHEM of KUHeS, Malawi) on academic and research protocol writing.
The @ACEPHEM1 is hosting a Post Graduate Supervision workshop in Mangochi. Participants include senior faculty from University of Malawi, Malawi University of Science & Technology and the University of Blantyre Synod and the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences
Our ACEPHEM team from the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS), Malawi had the second manuscript writing workshop in Mzuzu at Chatonda Lodge (24-29th April 2022). Authors' topics ranged from the "Achille's tendons" in humans, cannabis research and adolescent health.

Today, we had a PhD defense for one of our colleagues, Chimwemwe Kwanjo-Banda (Kamuzu University of Health Sciences). Chimwemwe studied diabetes management in southern Malawi. In the picture are two supervisors with Chimwemwe in the middle (missing was Prof Moffat Nyirenda)
