Hahaha imagine escaping to Mars and still getting a Slack notification ๐ญ๐
That README skill actually sounds useful! Especially when the codebase keeps changing and the documentation gets left behind ๐
I've been maintaining project-specific instructions and development standards, but I haven't explored reusable skills as much as I should.
And you're right about prompting ๐ Sometimes I spend more time explaining what NOT to change than explaining the actual task.
I'll check out https://t.co/gm61bUFEoj. Thanks for sharing that! ๐
Unpopular opinion ๐
Not every message needs an immediate reply.
Sometimes we're working, spending time with family, or just enjoying a little peace.
But some people take a late reply personally ๐
What do you think? Is replying late disrespectful, or are people expecting too much these days? ๐
Hahaha even on Mars we'll probably get notifications eventually ๐ญ๐
I've been using Cursor Pro+ with Composer and Grok, depending on the task. I use ChatGPT more for planning, architecture and thinking through tricky problems.
And omg yes ๐ You ask AI to fix one bug and suddenly it's refactoring half the project ๐ญ
One thing that's helped me is keeping instructions really specific: what to change, what NOT to touch, and asking it to inspect the existing code before making changes. For bigger tasks, I ask for a plan first.
I'm still learning too ๐ Haven't explored all the skills stuff properly yet. What have you been trying with them?
Hey Andy! No worries at all ๐ Really appreciate the offer!
I'll send you a few screenshots in DM. We recently added Chinese support, but I haven't had much feedback from native speakers yet, so it'd be really helpful to know if anything sounds unnatural or confusing ๐
And looking forward to seeing MeaningGlide when it's ready! ๐
Mars sounds good until they install Slack and Teams there too ๐ญ๐
I use AI quite a lot actually ๐ ChatGPT for brainstorming, architecture and reviewing ideas, and Cursor for coding and debugging.
But I still review the changes, test things and make the final decisions. AI can move fast, but it can also confidently break something that was working perfectly ๐
And yeah, there's always another model, another tool, another update. Keeping up feels like a second job sometimes ๐ญ
Good morning โ๏ธ๐ฟ
Some mornings I wake up with 10 plans in my headโฆ and spend the first 20 minutes wondering which one to start ๐โ
Anyway, one thing at a time. No need to figure out the whole day before breakfast ๐
How's your morning going?
Hahaha hardcore introverts trying to survive in a world that wants everyone connected 24/7 ๐ญ๐
And yeah, the AI race is crazy. Sometimes I feel like by the time I learn one new tool, three more have already launched ๐
I don't think there's even a finish line anymore lol. Do you use AI much in your work, or are you trying to keep some distance from it?
@swSalim@X Haha the waiting for SEO part is probably the hardest ๐
I'm also figuring out how to get people to discover what I build. Curious, are you targeting very specific search keywords for those sites, or just publishing and seeing what picks up?
Hey @X, let's meet some new people here! ๐๐
I'm a developer building my own apps alongside a full-time job.
Would love to connect with developers, indie makers, startup founders, and anyone building something interesting.
What are you working on these days? ๐

@aniqatc And the irony is I'm a software developer complaining about technology moving too fast ๐ญ๐
I love what technology makes possible, but sometimes I just want a quiet evening without 20 notifications ๐
@launchwhasmik That sounds less like a recommendation and more like a warning ๐๐ญ
Okay, I'll finish my work first... otherwise you'll be responsible for my unfinished bugs ๐คฃ
@aniqatc Hahaha wrong era indeed ๐๐ญ
Imagine telling someone 20 years ago that one day we'd have to apologise for not checking a tiny screen for 3 hours ๐ญ๐
Sometimes I miss the days when being offline was just normal ๐
@aniqatc Haha now I've got one person waiting for the iOS version ๐๐
Thank you Aniqa! Really appreciate it โค๏ธ And I'll be looking forward to your updates too. Hope we both have some good news to share soon! ๐
@aniqatc Exactly ๐ Sometimes I feel like phones have made us available 24/7 without anyone actually asking if we wanted that ๐ญ
And the funny part is, we reply after a few hours and suddenly have to explain where we disappeared to ๐
Haha you caught me ๐ I complain about debugging after work, but somehow I still open my laptop every evening ๐ญ
And yes, iOS is definitely in my plans! Just taking things slowly because I'm funding everything myself for now ๐
Going viral would be a dream haha, but even getting a few people to genuinely use the app would make me happy.
And 2 years isn't nothing! ๐ Hope things work out with your role. Looking forward to your updates!
@Jing69712168 ๐ Imagine being Russell and Moore that day. You're supposed to examine someone, but somehow you're the ones getting a lesson in philosophy ๐ญ

Would love some honest feedback from anyone who gives it a try! ๐
@ClaudeBindels Oh wow, just a couple of days away! ๐ Those final finishing touches always seem to take longer than expected haha ๐
All the best with the launch, Claude! Looking forward to seeing LAUD go live ๐
Oh nice! ๐ Then we're both figuring out the founder journey, just from different sides haha ๐
Visibility is actually one of my biggest struggles right now. Building the app was hard enough, but getting people to discover it is a whole different challenge ๐
Wishing you the best with LAUD! When are you planning to launch?
