"The UFC event captures something about this moment in our history.
After all, it’s vulgar, it’s violent, it’s commercial, it’s grandiose, it’s tacky, and it dishonors a place once thought worthy of care and respect. In other words, it’s Donald Trump."

Not enough people are talking about this.
Trump is trying to escape a $100 million dollar tax penalty, and Senate Republicans are helping him do it.
You know about the $1.8 billion slush fund he tried to create to reward his political allies. They got so much pushback that they’ve halted that, at least for now. But what you probably don’t know is that Trump gave himself, his family, and his businesses complete immunity from IRS audits, past and future.
Everyone focused on the slush fund, and almost nobody noticed the audit immunity. It’s still in place, and it cannot be allowed to stand.
BREAKING: In a stunning endorsement against a sitting Republican Senator, the United Steelworkers in Ohio have endorsed Sherrod Brown. This is a huge step towards winning back working class voters. Let's go!
This is what my general election opponent thinks counts as "leadership" in Texas.
The Texas Railroad Commission is a complex regulatory agency tasked with fixing our power grid, preventing toxic chemical leaks, and managing our state's water supply. It requires data-driven, serious management.
Instead, Bo French uses his platform to fuel toxic division and stoke religious bigotry. Even top leaders in his own party have condemned this exact post and called for his resignation.
Texas is an energy superpower. We deserve an experienced mechanical engineer on the job, not an internet troll who puts party politics and hate above the public.
New data reveals that New World Screwworm, a severely dangerous flesh-eating maggot, is spreading throughout Texas.
This comes months after Ken Paxton supported cutting Screwworm monitoring programs.
@MacDaddy2022AZ@DemocraticWins FYI, federal law already limits enrollment in Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security to citizens. Google it. If, as you claim, you’re a “free thinker”, you’ll quickly realize proposed cuts are to citizens, all the while the trillions of tax cuts previously given remain.
This is really stupid, and it’s not getting enough attention.
The Trump administration is pulling a working $368 million ocean monitoring system out of the water, equipment taxpayers already bought, built, and sank into the deep ocean.
And they are doing it right when the oceans are behaving in ways that alarm the scientists who study them.
Record-breaking temperatures.
A system of Atlantic currents that may be lurching toward collapse.
The response?
Yank out the instruments and walk away.
That is not budgeting. That is smashing the gauges while the engine is on fire and calling it efficiency.
For what? The Trump administration dressed it up as a “nimbler approach” and “smart lifecycle management,” which is fancy nonsense for “we shut it off and hoped nobody would ask why.” There is no return-on-investment analysis. They cannot show taxpayers save a dime, because the gear is already paid for and the science it produces protects real money and real lives.
The kicker: the same people killing the monitors want to mine the deep sea for minerals. So they are destroying the only tools that could measure what that mining does. That is not an accident.
That is the point. You cannot see the damage if you break the instruments first.

Let me say I am NOT a religious man and I have little time for organized religion. I was born a Roman Catholic, but never found refuge in the Catholic faith.
Having said that, when I first heard James speak, he spoke immediately to my life values and I instinctively connected with his ‘people first’ political values.
He has remained consistent in his beliefs because they represent who he is and that’s why I know he’s resonating with everyday Texans. He knows how to articulate the argument for his candidacy because he speaks from his heart and that is a rare thing in politics today.
Washington will be better for having his presence in the US Senate.

When I told my Dad I was gay in 1995 he said something that will always stay with me. He told me about his best friend in the army that was in the closet and had children and was from a deeply religious family where the “Gay was prayed away.” My father started crying (he has only ever cried twice in my presence) and said that he found his friend hanging from the rafters in the barracks. Suicide at aged 29, three kids, an oblivious wife. He said “As long as you are safe, happy and loved that is all I want for you son. I would prefer an alive gay son to one that kills himself because he is gay.” #PrideMonth2026
Donald Trump is lying about California elections, threatening criminal prosecutions and this is what WaPo writes.

The intense media focus on Graham Platner is understandable. He is an unknown in a crucial Senate race with a lot of baggage. Less understandable is the lack of coverage of Ken Paxton, whose sins are far worse. That it is “old news” is no excuse. Most voters have no clue.
Ossoff: Last September, the President of Kazakhstan calls Donald Trump and says he wants to grant tungsten mining rights to an American company. And the very next month, Eric and Don Jr. get a stake in the American company pursuing the mining deal.
Six days later, six days after Prince Eric and Prince Don get their stake, Kazakhstan announces this company will get, “The largest known undeveloped tungsten resource in the world.” A few more weeks go by, and then the U.S. government, run by their father, sets aside 1.6 billion of your tax dollars to fund and finance their mining project. In Kazakhstan.
All this while you pay more for gas, for groceries, for health care, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
James Carville: “I’m just waiting for the NYT to drop a 5-point series on the depth of this corruption. The corruption is beyond anything, it might be that there’s been more corruption under the administration of Donald Trump than there has in the 250 year history of the US”
There’s been a lot of talk in this race about what makes a "real man."
A man does what’s right when no one is watching. He upholds his commitments to his family and neighbors. He doesn’t lie, cheat, & steal his way through life.
Real men serve others. Weak men serve themselves.
#BREAKING: Psaki: “…I have to start tonight with a story that in any other administration, would be grounds for opening an impeachment inquiry, because today ProPublica reported that the White House intervened to get a $620 million deal for a company tied to President Trump’s adult son @DonaldJTrumpJr…the deal in question involved a startup focused on rare earth magnet production called Vulcan Elements and last Summer, Don Jr’s venture capital firm took an undisclosed stake in that company, and wouldn’t you know…three months later, the Pentagon announced that it was giving Vulcan Elements a $620 million loan.”🙄🤦♀️
lol this is what you’re resorting to?! 25 years in office and your last ditch effort to try and gain votes is a bill that….wait for it….renames a highway! I am actually laughing out loud. This, ladies and gentlemen, is a perfect example of the modern day politician. Completely and absolutely useless scumbags
