1/ Tired of constant back-and-forth between dev & platform engineering teams? Welcome to the next level of Kubernetes-aware observability!
HNY for K8s is an all-in-1️⃣ solution to the disjointed world of application and infrastructure monitoring! 🐝✨ https://t.co/vK9U6i6G7h
HNY speaking session coming up…but first, a selfie! 😂
@maplebed here is stepping in for our originally scheduled #QConSF speaker, Jess Mink. Catch him at 5:05 PM PT in Ballroom A for "How to Get Tech-Debt on the Roadmap"! https://t.co/BrKwBEAUvf
✅ @maplebed filled a room and gave an incredible talk.
✅ Nailed our booth demos.
✅ Spread the word: Observability is 🔥.
Thanks for a brilliant conference, #QConSF! 🙏

today i'm excited to announce our latest round, a $50m series d, led by @HeadlineVC with participation from existing investors @ScaleVP, @insightpartners, among others: https://t.co/29YXD4rCAj
The last 7 years at @honeycombio have been awesome and it’s exciting that we continue to thrive; we’ve raised $50M in series D funding! It’s amazing to be visibly changing this corner of the industry in which I’ve spent most of my career. Onward! https://t.co/jweb6v7mSV
Two years ago we talked about whether to add a Service Map to @honeycombio. My eye rolling comment at the time was “all sizzle, no steak.” Our team has cooked up a goddamned filet mignon. 🥩✨
No particular reason I'm retweeting this, really ... umm.... (Thankfully the ancient power strip I was using just valiantly gave its life with far less 💥 in the face of a power surge and everything's fine. Buying new ones today.)
It's so tempting to use the easily available metric to judge a thing. @mononcqc gets into why counting alerts doesn't let you judge oncall health, but maybe is still a useful signal to track to augment analysis. https://t.co/ei9AiYb099
A preternatural engineering team is one that can neutralize the supernatural abilities of computers and the internet. Also called "bit-breakers", "net-detanglers", or "exorcists". https://t.co/1eSQj283VJ
I want to point out that there's always an element of "conferenceware." The part that @lizthegrey isn't saying is that @honeycombio's engineering team is preternaturally good at their jobs. They're significantly ahead of the curve.
@Twitter Could you use the local time zone for login warnings? My network packets are indeed coming from LA; Pacific time (PDT) would be a better choice. (This was a legit warning, it was a new device on a new IP, but it was actually me.) Thanks!
I watch our AWS bill on a regular basis to ensure we keep things in check. I use the Cost Explorer for much of this, but I use @honeycombio to understand what's behind our Lambda bill. I wrote up a post on it to share how! https://t.co/di1qiihro7
I can’t even remember how many folks thought we were silly for entering “the crowded monitoring space”. We can say “no no, it’s different” till we’re blue in the face without visible effect, but now 7 years later the whole industry has recognized the shift. This is amazing.
Honeycomb ruffled the first of many feathers nearly 7 years ago when we coined the term “observability” in talking about production code, shares @cyen. Today we get to celebrate being a Leader in the @Gartner_inc#MagicQuadrant for #APM & #Observability! https://t.co/oNx5IUrho0
At @intercom we have engineering demos every Friday, where people can show the cool things they have been working on. This week 100% of the demos included @honeycombio
