@MouserGuru @rayanddregs @Endy Yes you spent 3.5 mil on the player which I get you had to have to begin with, but the cap hit is 7mil which you get the full relief on, so you would have net 3.5 mil.

Unless I'm missing something, also say you in this case gave up a pick and the trading team absorbs half the contract. You would in have a cap savings of 3.5 mil you could use towards a player

@OverDrive1050 #1 replace whole management team, they clearly have a vision of this team that is not based on the reality of the NHL. Outside of that a major money trade which gives them some cap relief I would do Marner and Kerfoot for Eichel. Eichel has more compete than Marner +cap relief

@danjones63dan @TheLeafsIMO Actually I love the way the game use to be(fighting/checking) all I ask for all teams GM's etc. Is to have consistency from regular season to playoffs! If you invest in a connor mcdavid who is clearly the most talented player in the league,playoffs come his speed is negated = bs

@bigjbowski @bruce_ytc @CP24 I agree however, we still have a portion of the population who cannot be vaccinated and are vulnerable, 12 and under as long as that group of people do not have access to vaccines we must continue case count! We cant let numbers get high and then spread it to children.
