VARの定義は「攻撃の起点からゴールまで振り返る」
例え5分前のファールでもゴール取り消しになります。

今大会全部見てますが足裏での踏み付けは100%ファール判定。大会を通じて一貫性があり全く持って妥当な判定という印象です。

ルールを理解できてない人は
「そんな前のファールを取るなんて！」
「ファールならその時点で鳴らすべき」
という感じでしょうがルール運用の仕組みを理解できてないだけ。オフサイドも含め怪しい判定は全部流してプレーが止まった時にビデオルームで確認という運用です。

ファールをすぐ取ってしまう運用の問題は
→オフサイドorファールっぽいプレー
→その直後にGKと2vs1の大チャンス
→オフサイドorファールと思って主審が笛を吹く
→ビデオで確認したところオフサイドやファールはなかった
→いやいやほぼ得点決まってたのにどうしてくれんの？誤審じゃん！
となるリスクがあります。なのでいったんプレーが切れるまで流す運用になっています。エジプトの取り消しはこの運用ルールに従って判定がされていて適切な判定です。
