Today, the Rwanda Peacekeepers (Rwanda Battle Group) serving under the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) welcomed the newly appointed North-East Sector Commander, Brig Gen Hamad Mostafa Ahmed Adel Mansour, to their headquarters in Bria, Central African Republic. He was warmly received by the Contingent Commander, Lt Col David Ngabonziza.
During the visit, Brig Gen Mansour was briefed on the current security situation and the ongoing operations being conducted by the Rwanda Battle Group within its area of responsibility to ensure the protection of civilians.

“While Rwanda respects the Tribunal’s award and considers the matter concluded, we note that the dissenting and separate opinion by Professor Mohamed Abdel Wahab shows that the issues before the Tribunal were complex and open to different legal conclusions, including that the November 2024 exchanges relied on by the UK did not validly change the financial arrangements between the two countries. Rwanda will continue to work constructively with international partners, guided by international norms and mutually beneficial cooperation.”

@africans816671 Rwandans blocking RTNC to hide a 1-0 win? Bro, if they had that kind of superpower, they’d do bigger things, not fretting over a football match. Meanwhile, fans at Makoumba Club in KGL were sipping beers, cheering the Leopards; no secret police, no blackout, just actual vibes✍️
It’s almost impressive how the FDLR issue has outlived so many U.S. presidents, clearly, it’s more permanent than any administration. And yet, somehow, the solution always seems to circle back to blaming Rwanda, as if repeating it long enough will magically fix everything.
You would think that after all this time, a more balanced approach might have worked by now, but instead, the handling still feels as one-sided as ever.
