@GBAMole1@mooeycatrooie@SamCKx Lowe is a fringe figure, unknown to most. The dunblane comments reached the shock jock threshold to make mainstream news (for a day. It's not like there was a campaign against him). Outside of that he's basically a posh boy BNP with similar support & reporting.
@fpl_tactician I think they'd be shit. It removes decision making & most of the advantage of getting differential captaincy right cos everyone ends up with a good score. Surprised to see you advocating for "children and reform voter" changes, Andy.
@FPLHenners Same. Same. Messed up changing to Vini, bailed out by Sarr. Same. Messed up changing to Bellingham, not yet bailed out. Messi doing best to scupper him. Diaz/Muñoz, your time is now. Prob go Muñoz. Keep it Palace on the bailout front!
@FPL_TomHadley Another to add to my forgotten/slept thru/didn't save points bleeding in this tournament! Up to 26! Hopefully Oyarzabal/Cucu, Dest, Messi or Diaz/Muñoz beat 15 & it was 4D chess!
@FPL__Fran@FPLSchaden Keepers also bigger. Different rules. Keepers weren't allowed to move before kick then. Was also much more often best penalty taker, as opposed to biggest star on the team who took them. Also obv info/level of preparation.
@CharlieBarnicle@xhen33 I'd guess the up at 6 to do something at 8 group more tech/streaming savvy & less able to spend those 2 hrs watching it. Dunno really. I've probably commented more than I care 😂. Hope everyone who wants to watch it finds a way that suits them!
@CharlieBarnicle@xhen33 That's probably an even more niche time. Lots up by 7, far fewer by 6. Like I say the main audience will probably be old people/ some WFHers.20% population are pensioners. A fair chunk of those won't stay up till 3/4 am but would like to watch it before they know the score.
@FPL_Marcello Lots made mistake of focusing on small number of teams too early. 8 rounds of subs/captains still a lot &, especially as most already have 6+ France/Argentina/Spain players anyway, you can pretty much flick the switch at any point.
@CharlieBarnicle@xhen33 People working from home could. Old people would struggle with the sleep loss, often get up early, barely use streaming & could watch before they know the score. It's not gonna be for most but there's a world outside Charlie where there'll be people glad of it.
@NeilMac555 It was more the ref. Also meant they didn't get to exhibit the full range of dark arts, with a little subterfuge. They were able to stay at the "punch him in the face in front of the ref" level. I'm confident they could have coped, thru subs & slyness, with a semi competent ref
@FPLJoeYT Possibly, if chasing have high upside Hakimi, Cucu, O'Reilly, Muñoz types & play this wk. If doing well start building pure Fra/Spa/Arg defence & play it later. Agree re: attack & you could argue opponents like Paraguay, Portugal, even Egypt are no better than likely next rd
@AlexVolloFPL Extra pts clear, generally represent "good play" (at least play with a clearly positive outcome rather than just making a lot of safe passes, heading it back to oppo type stuff) & not overpowered, also partly due to increasing g/CS pts. Prefer bench/cap to be actual decisions tho
@FPLJoeYT If you need some consultancy on how to avoid points with Kane & a 12th man chip, I'm your man. Only played games with that chip twice, used it on Kane twice, got two blanks, one in a 10-0 win
