genuinely tearing up 🥺🥺
“so soobin, please live true to yourself. do whatever you wish, whatever you love. may you always be healthy, free and happy. we will stay by your side for a long, long time.”
Although international recognition is incredibly important for an artist, I believe being recognized in their own country is one of the most meaningful achievements. I think it comes with a special sense of pride. I can only imagine how happy they must be, especially knowing that performing at a university festival has always been a dream of theirs. Honestly, I hope this marks the beginning of even greater things for them and that they continue to grow and gain more recognition in Korea.
"Do you happen to know ENHYPEN?"
👤Yes~!!!!!!!!
"Thank goodness, we came thinking you wouldn't know us, but thank you so much for inviting us, everyone"
it's really a big deal seeing enhypen in university festival korea for the first time! girlgroups are usually preferred for university festivals like this bc they have bigger audience in korea. yonsei university is one of the big 3 uni in korea and this literally speaks on how enhypen finally get more audiences and starting popular there 😭 im so emotional rn and so proud of them, enhypen you've actually made it this far! 😭
"ah, i'm being loved" 🥹🤍

😺 i feel so many different emotions pass through but i think the dopamine hits hardest especially during parts where i just jump around without thinking. when i hear the fans' cheers or see people tearing up during a performance,
i feel like 'ah, i'm being loved'.
usually, you only know your prime era after it's already passed, right? but sometimes when i look out at the audience from the stage, i get this strange feeling like i'm looking at my prime right now.
I am very delighted to meet @ENHYPEN JUNGWON, JAY, JAKE, SUNGHOON, SUNOO, and NI-KI in person in Seoul 🇰🇷 today.
Thank you for your work and commitment in promoting blood donation with @WHO
I look forward to continuing our collaboration in the future, and perhaps next time you will come to visit me and my colleagues in Geneva.
the original singer of this song is by cyndi wang and it’s apparently an old chinese soundtrack from smiling pasta.
it’s a classic old chinese song and was so popular in china many years ago! it’s still well-known among chinese people to this day. i think it’s very fitting since sunghoon has really unique taste in music too.
context of song: describes secret, tender love. It compares the lover to the first star that appears at dusk. the singer waits quietly for the person she loves, feeling confused yet still holding hope for happiness.
what makes this even more meaningful is remembering what sunghoon said before about covering a song or dance. he said he wanted to do a female’s song (with lower key). and you can clearly hear his vocals so much in this. i love him and i’m so proud 🥺🤍
