I was a bit skeptical at first too before crossing paths with @SHREDfi but it was strikingly new compared to other options. Their model just makes sense.

So what is this project?: ShredFi is positioned to be a yield savings protocol/market to lend your stablecoins to. You deposit USDC, and they're projecting a 15% APY.

Where does the yield come from?: My attraction to ShredFi stemmed from the fact they're not minting some sh*t token to give you yields. These guys are doing rate arbitrage on Hyperliquid. Hyperliquid has 70% of the market and is doing over $400B in volume. Since Hyperliquid is a perpetual DEX, traders pay a constant stream fee to the protocol to access leveraged trading. This means there's an underlying yield of 8-20% which is the rate that ShredFi will be able to yield, and they do it with delta neutral positions. So it really doesn't matter which way the market is trending. You literally do nothing but watch.

Why I trust this: One of the key factors that validate ShredFi is even a new protocol is the team building it, having done a $300M+ run without getting hacked. New protocol = risk, but proven team = less risk.

The buffer fund mechanism: The buffer fund keeps short-term volatility at bay, so you can expect your short-term yield to stay at your target yield, which is 15%. I say target because it's variable, so no promises (shrug).

Final thoughts: It's launching in Q1 and all early participants get multipliers, so I joined the waitlist. It's nice to see something simple and straightforward instead complicated farming strategies. This is worth checking out I think.
