The fall out from England’s defeat has been distasteful into the point of xenophobia.
They won the game. They battled for it. They made it a slog and they came out on top.
Against Spain, they tried the same and lost.
That’s football.
This type of nonsense isn’t needed 👇
Agent Robbo? 🏴
Scotland captain Andy Robertson has joked that he’ll be on an international recruitment mission at his new club Spurs.
During his unveiling at Spurs, Robertson was asked who he thought his best friend would be at his new club.
“Archie Gray if he’s going to be Scottish,” he replied.
20-year-old Gray is from a family of former Scotland internationals, with his father Andy, grandfather Frank and great uncle Eddie having all represented the country.
The versatile midfielder has played for his birth country England from U15s level through to U21s.
Tzolis: “I’m a direct player, I go for goals or assists. That’s my point of view as an attacker, as a winger.
“I’m always hungry to score or to give the final pass to my teammates. And I can say I work hard for the team, also in the defensive part.”
Clubs make such a big deal out of players leaving and act so offended by it. It's all for show. Pandering to fans... but it actually makes selling much harder.
Clubs like Ajax, Porto, etc do a really good job of letting guys go but keeping goodwill. So talent is happy to join.
Met Taylor at an event in Miami, naturally he was a little uptight as it was the week after the Coote stuff, but I didn’t get the feeling he was a proper football man.
For me, in big games, was too happy to play for a draw & avoid making decisions. PGMOL freshening up is good.

Motherwell getting more than £5m before add-ons from Swansea City for Elijah Just after agreeing a record transfer deal. Good business for a player who cost a moderate six-figure fee 12 months ago and who had a year left on his Fir Park contract.
I don’t like this at all.
We want passion in football but then we punished him for honesty.
Hearts were given a really raw deal by the establishment, it was gutting to watch their title be ripped away the way it was.
🚨 Rangers manager Derek McInnes has been given a three game touchline ban - with another one match suspended - by the Scottish FA.
🔵 McInnes has been found guilty of breaching Rule 72 following comments he made after Motherwell v Celtic when he was Hearts boss.
I understand the frustrations around the Rogers/Garnacho deal but I’m unsure it’s materially different to the Hincapie work-around last season.
Feels like the annoyance is more seeing the rules be bent while Premier League take years for punishment.
Big scoop in the Premier League

American broadcasters keep cutting to celebrities in the crowds and the UK commentators just go silent every time.
WE. DO. NOT. CARE.
No-one wants your horrible commercial culture to destroy football. This tournament is bad enough.
No other football club in Europe could pull that type of crowd, organically, on a Tuesday night.
That wasn’t some club call to action or organised parade, that was just fans. A fanbase.
You can’t buy that. You can’t fake that.
Incredible to be part of a proper club.
I don’t understand at all.
A pitch invasion on 97:30 of 8 mins added.
Hearts players assaulted on the pitch.
Referee blows full time and wraps the game up?
Never seen anything like it
