Congratulations @juliangurgo for his pre-print on the organization of Pc domains during development, an exciting collaboration with Frédéric Bantignies, @WalterJeanChar1 and @giacomo_cavalli. See https://t.co/l4OHG7Vn2Y
A tour de force study from Olivier Messina and coauthors where he used multiplexed DNA imaging to discover common folding motifs in chromatin, a finding that will open many future perspectives.
📢 We are thrilled to announce our new manuscript out on BioRxiv:

These results are consistent with long-range Pc interactions being temporally and spatially regulated during differentiation and development but do not seem to involve clustering of multiple distant Pc genes.

Also, 3D proximities are particularly enhanced in segments where Pc genes are co-repressed & segment-specific expression of Hox Pc targets leads to their spatial segregation from Pc repressed genes.
@christlet @EmmanuelMargeat Thanks for the link to joplin! I have used a local instance of hedgeDoc but my worry is that notes are saved in a database... So we turned to Obsidian with files sync across devices using Nextcloud/Dropbox
Been studying lately the best options for electronic lab books and finally turned to markdown-github after some study of the best options (https://t.co/bjPHJuX7oo). Anyone has advice?
Our latest paper concerns the role of pioneer transcription factors, which comes closest to our original concept. - Pioneer transcription factors in chromatin remodeling: The kinetic proofreading view
