Dr. Anne-Marie Imafidon, a beacon of brilliance in STEM, epitomises the union of intellect and impact. Shattering barriers with unwavering determination, she inspires countless young minds, especially women, to pursue their dreams without boundaries. #SalutingOurSisters#BHM2023
Only worthy of a "Warning letter sent for inconsiderate driving" from Warwickshire Police. I was indicating to turn right approx 50yds before turn=Brake checked and 2 very, very angry people #hockleyheath#cycling
Solidarity with parents of teenage boys who need to talk to them about #AndrewTate today.
Such a tired cliche but this repulsive person has mesmerised young minds. What are the best resources to parent boys in the age of Tate.
(And no, I dont want to take away my son's phone.)
Steve Barclay is playing the ‘how can NHS staff live with the harm they’ll be causing by striking?’ card today. He forgets that those staff live daily with the risk government daily exposes them and their patients to because of ministers’ deliberate underfunding of the NHS.
It wasn’t the rich who saved us from Covid. It was the low paid NHS workers that the govt first asked us to clap for, and then gave the George Cross to for their sacrificial service!
But now it’s those very key workers the same govt has turned their backs on and left to sink!
Cynical manipulation #BBCNews as focus on strikes but not on huge disruption to businesses caused by the water companies today. Half hearted mention yesterday. My mum in her 80s hasn't had water since Saturday.
@MrRowntreeReads @Headteacherchat Was told this wasn't true there had to be legal basis for sharing, to carefully record why we shared or not against the criteria necessary, proportionate, relevant, adequate, accurate, timely and secure. Once the child is at school legal basis is established and then is true.
@MrRowntreeReads @Headteacherchat Not what we were told on the course I attended this week. We were made to understand the data belonged to the child not the school and we needed to record the legal basis, ths very question came up. Safeguarding information cn only legally happen after a transfer without consent.
@LColeGM@Headteacherchat What's the legal basis? It can't be public task if they aren't at your school yet. Consent maybe? It will depend on your privacy statement I suppose and whether the child or their parent, if they are under 13, have consented in applying. GDPR is the new PPI, be careful.
