I think a lot of AI products die because the demo is more exciting than the daily use case.
That’s exactly what I’m trying to fix with Lemonpod’s pivot.
Hard truth: getting signups is not the same as building something people’ll pay for.
Lemonpod got trials, but the positioning was too broad.
Now I’m testing a narrower version for founders before rebuilding the core features.

The Product Hunt launch was a big success and brought in a lot of great initial interest. Since then, I have been talking to users and digging into their feedback to see what is working. The honest truth is that the product is fun to listen to, but it is not yet essential.
To actually justify a paid subscription, this app needs to be highly productive and helpful. It needs to solve a real problem in your workflow, rather than just being an entertaining novelty.
Instead of trying to force this version to work, I am stepping back to rebuild around a much sharper, time-saving focus using both quick text summaries and audio briefs.
