Still waiting for a Tote monopoly. Fond of experts, innovation, National Hunt Chase. Citizen of nowhere. My algorithm is fine, it was just poorly implemented.
@RacingPost Should Q40 not have been a non-runner rather than a ringer being added after the off and hoping nobody would notice? #DesertHero’sImperialCup
@amazonhelp Below shouldn’t be acceptable at any time, still less when there are detailed instructions on the account with a location, and less again when I have lodged five separate complaints about the same issue. Not good enough.
@alandelmonte Definitely with you in that quest Alan. Also one of those twitch inducing contronyms. Either independent party looking after stakes, or a very much involved party with a vested interest, or both in the case of Messrs Weatherbys….
@carlbrad66@horsevault As others have said, it’s Sailor King. 4th in a Curragh maiden at 2, then 2nd in a 12f Naas maiden, 5th in the Blandford Stakes (12f) and 6th in the Irish Leger at 3. Seemingly ended up as an unsuccessful sire of jumpers standing in Oregon.
If you look really carefully at that Kempton card today and squint a bit, you can just about see the faint outline of the Charisma and the Captain Quist, with ‘Everett (NAP)’ in the margin.
Piz Badile, with Lingerie 3x3, would be the closest inbreeding to a mare in Derby history if he wins today. Honourable mention to Azor, winner in 1817, who had Grecian Princess 3x4x5. Either way, Urban Sea says ‘hold my beer’.
@cmoreton99@EmperorFrankel Wasn’t it something along the lines of coming over here after his 2yo year because of betting ban in USA, injury stopped him, achieved very little at stud over here, then back to USA where he flourished?
Fair play to all connections, and I love the greater opportunities in the mares programme, but big black type today at Cheltenham for 3 rated <125, and small black type for another 3 rated <116. Surely time to use ratings rather than placings @Tattersalls1766@Goffs1866 ?
@OwnersforOwners @BHAPressOffice Jon, is it important to define what’s meant by ‘grassroots’? I’d see a distinction between supporting progressive race types of lower class to enable the cream to rise, versus for eg low grade handicaps. Or do you simply mean all lower class races?
Smallest field for the National Hunt Chase since Innisfail beat 3 others at Bogside in 1890. Four trainers, seven runners. Race has totally lost its identity. Time to go back to its very early days and move it from course to course, under its pre-2002 conditions?
