@Michael18022961 @UNCstillgot_it His strikeout rate was around 22-23% in 2024-25 which is nothing special. It's 26% this year, which again, is nothing special (ranked 128th in his AAA league).

Average stuff, struggles with his command at times which results in too many hits allowed. Homers were a big issue in previous years but has kept the ball in the yard more consistently.

Middle reliever upside.

@MarshaIIZach They still owe him $14M for 2027-28... he's picking up that player option. You just DFA him, stash him at AAA and maybe at one point you can trade one bad contract for another.

And they have no reason to DFA him until Mantiply or Nance are healthy. There's no one else at AAA.
