TIL: Turns out that adding a task dependency conditional on a https://t.co/ocPG7CHELv from an extension object in @gradle is as easy as implementing a custom org.gradle.api.tasks.TaskDependency.

That fuzzy feeling when you realise in the morning that you are affected by a GroovyDoc bug https://t.co/wKwIccGqOm accidentally introduced by @CedricChampeau in 2018. Looks like he was unlucky and the code he changed for perf reasons has no test coverage...
