Just a Cincy girl, now living in Philly drinking an @UrbanArtifact Capy Snacks at a local bar wearing the UA hoodie she bought last time she was home and visited the taproom. So happy to have these beers available out here.
@Tiredernurse74@Angry_Staffer My fav from Moore is Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ’s Childhood Friend. It’s one of two books that made me literally laugh out loud on the subway.
I never tire of the shocked look I get from those not in the know when they ask what I’m gonna do when I get home to the 513 and I reply “Have a 3-way.” So today I’m wearing this tee from @CincyShirts to educate my co-workers. (I’ll make a batch of Cincy chili in in the fall.)
Just checked in for my flight tomorrow — was gonna pay the fee to check a bag but they offered me an upgrade to first class. For $20 more than what it would cost me to check one bag, I get a better seat, priority boarding, and not one, but two checked bags. Yea, I upgraded.
Well, Indy 500 qualifying is a lot different from how I remember it growing up. I’ve been away for a few decades but watched yesterday and today and damn if it wasn’t exciting.
Yo @Target — what’s up with this? I activated the offer, I made a $60+ purchase (pre-tax) and yet it doesn’t show I earned the reward? I gave you the benefit of the doubt that it would appear once the week was offer but nothing.
@Bw500Brian No. The HVAC unit on the roof was vibrating strongly, felt like it might crash thru. We ran out of the building thinking it was a heavy truck passing by.
The last quake I felt out here (2011) I physically saw the floor roll. That I knew was an earthquake right off.
Conversations with patrons at library today:
P: Do you have eclipse glasses?
M: No, our supply is gone.
P: Did you feel the earthquake?
M: Yes, we did.
