Rogues of #Jamaat have #RadicalIslamists running loose in #Bangladesh.
Ever since Hasina was ousted, the country has gone down the drain, with minority safety neglected.
Is this how @trahmanbnp plans to promote religious harmony, or is he powerless?
Idols Vandalised in Kushtia Ahead of Durga Puja: Who Will Protect Bangladesh’s Minorities?
Another attack on religious harmony raises serious concerns about the safety of Hindu minorities in Bangladesh. Since 5 August 2024, recurring attacks on religious sites have fuelled fear and insecurity.
The BNP-Jamaat government must ensure effective protection, accountability, and justice. No one should have to live in fear for practising their faith.

Is this #Pak taking its revenge in #Bangladesh?
Today's #Bangladesh is radicalized, filled with terror & extremism, and what's worse than blackening the face of the global icon of Bengali culture?
From what I can see, they are becoming #Pak 2.0.
@CJBdingo25
BNP’s corruption is robbing #Bangladesh’s youth of the one thing they cannot afford to lose: their future.
300,000+ candidates came seeking jobs; instead, a paper leak worth Tk 26 lakh cost them their chance.
Is #Bangladesh’s youth paying for a corrupt system?
@saudrahman27
@NiohBerg BNP- #Jamaat’s links to extremist elements like #ISI raise serious questions about Bangladesh’s future.
A country with such a rich cultural heritage has to watch as religious hardliners threaten its secular traditions & democratic freedoms.
#RogueBNP@SkyYaldaHakim 2/
#Bangladesh’s growing radicalization should alarm anyone who values freedom.
When religious hardliners gain political influence, pluralism comes under attack, intolerance spreads, and the country’s cultural identity becomes a casualty.
#DeRadicalizeBangladesh@NiohBerg 1/
Isn't it laughable how this man speaks of #JulyUprising? The protest itself was a sham to seize power and plunder #Bangladesh, and today the country stands at its lowest. Bangladesh has been betrayed by this man, his party, and others.

The July Mass Uprising is not the property of any specific political party or individual.

CRUDE BOMBS THROWN AT PM'S RESIDENCE #BANGLADESH
The rogues, criminals & goons are spiralling out of control in the capital city of Dhaka.
If this can happen at the PM's residence, what does that say about the safety of ordinary citizens?
#RogueStateBangladesh@NiohBerg
Unidentified attackers riding a motorbike threw two crude bombs at the west side of the north gate of the Prime Minister’s Office in the capital’s Tejgaon area on early Saturday.

@speaknsee A leadership unable to stop mob violence is unfit to rule.
If the #BNP cannot protect citizens from political revenge and street terror, its promises of stability are empty slogans.
Bangladesh needs law, not mob rule.
#RogueStateBangladesh@RichardHanania 2/
🇧🇩 Mobs beat, threaten, and terrorize while ordinary Bangladeshis pay the price. When street thugs act as judge, jury, and executioner, law and order have collapsed.
How long must citizens live at the mercy of mobs?
#FailingStateBangladesh@speaknsee 1/
@speaknsee The current leadership is acting immature, rushing to show off development & growth while hollowing out the core of their very own nation.
Sadly, this is what people of #Bangladesh chose as their leader, or did they?
#SaveBangladesh@Ekattor_71
I wonder if #Bangladeshi authorities are aware of the miserable #BangladeshCrisis back home, with children dying, people starving, losing jobs & closed industries?
Buying airbuses for Biman Bangladesh is OK, but is that your priority?

While the world does its best to help the Rohingya, what is #Bangladesh doing?
Keeping them confined in overcrowded camps, where basic rights, sanitation and healthcare remain serious concerns.
Aid is being misused by #Bangladesh’s corrupt leadership!
@RohingyaResp
A safe space is where hope begins. 💙
Grazie, Italy, for standing with Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. Your support is essential to help us creating safe spaces where Rohingya women and girls can learn, gain skills and confidence, and build a better future.

Dictatorships don’t always take power through coups. Sometimes they keep democratic institutions on paper while crushing dissent and making people afraid to speak up.
#Bangladesh is heading down a dangerous path, looking more like #China.

Child abuse is a common practice in #Bangladesh, but a 13-month-old baby being sold is truly devastating & disgusting.
What happened to their society? How did they stoop so low?
This should concern everyone who cares about child safety & human rights!
@Ostrov_A
Police have rescued a 13-month-old boy allegedly sold for Tk 2 lakh by his father and relatives in Mymensingh’s Ishwarganj upazila. The child was recovered from a couple in Dhaka’s Dohar area. Five people, including the child’s grandparents and aunt, have been arrested. Police said further investigation is underway.

@ethrelkeld And this is how dictatorship takes hold: not overnight, but when a government decides it has the right to silence, detain, and crush anyone who stands against it. #Bangladesh is heading down that road.
#RogueBNP has ruined #Bangladesh@vonbrauckmann 2/
Bangladesh is killing its own democracy by making political opposition a punishable offence.
Arrests are replacing debate, intimidation is replacing participation, and fear is replacing political freedom.
This is the death of democracy.

In its latest statement titled “Bangladeshi Police Round Up Opposition Supporters: Mass Arrests Continue the Cycle of Political Repression,” the Human Rights Watch (HRW) has highlighted the issue of arbitrary detention and politically motivated arrests of opposition activists in #Bangladesh under the BNP-led government.
In the statement, HRW described the mass arrest of around 290 activists and supporters of the small left-wing party JSD at a meeting in Dhaka on September 26 as “the latest incident in the Bangladesh authorities’ ongoing assault on civil and political rights.”
HRW noted that, despite having itself been subjected to human rights violations under the Awami League (AL) government, the BNP, since assuming power in February 2026, has allegedly engaged in similar patterns of rights violations. @PearsonElaine, Asia Director at @hrw, stated:
“BNP targeted its own perceived opponents with arbitrary detention and hundreds of Awami League members are currently in jail, mostly without charge.”
The statement also highlighted the repeated police raids and arrests targeting alleged gatherings of AL supporters. On September 26, the same day as the JSD meeting, police in Barisal detained 12 AL activists for allegedly holding a “secret” meeting to “plan sabotage.” Two days later, police arrested another 15 people in Dhaka under the Anti-Terrorism Act on similar allegations.
In both instances, those detained reportedly stated that they had gathered to mark the birthday of former Prime Minister #SheikhHasina.
HRW expressed concern that the BNP came to power with a commitment to restore human rights, strengthen the rule of law, and uphold fundamental freedoms. Instead, the new government has engaged in arbitrary detention of political opponents and weakened or rolled back human-rights safeguards proposed by the interim government.
HRW emphasised that past rights violations committed during the AL’s tenure cannot provide legal or moral justification for comparable violations by the BNP government. HRW also issued a broader warning about the consequences of continued violations of civil and political rights by stating:
“Bangladeshi history is rife with examples of where such repression can lead,”

Dear @ishraqueBD,
Do you really think pulling off these stunts will eradicate dengue?
The real problem lies in your approach, intent & priorities.
PR stunts won't save kids dying; vaccines will. Where are they?
Never bought because Chinese jets were more imp.
