Founded THE SEO-focused Content Marketing Agency in Switzerland. Writing about how to use SEO and content strategies to drive more traffic and conversions.
Most SEOs are following a 80/20 rule when it comes to content but are meticulous bout their tech setup. For me its the other way round. I’d rather provide Google with a „good enough“ crawling experience than a reader with a „good enough“ content experience.
There is a sea of sameness problem in content marketing. We research who is in the top 10, and try to beat them. What if you thought everyone in the top 10 was wrong? I tested breaking out of doing the same content as everyone else, and learned a ton!

If you do a second of digging, it's obvious this is @CausalHQ and if you do a bit more digging - it's obvious their content is garbage: no visual aids, just pure autogenerated crap.
Would be amazed if this brought in enough paying users to cover the lift to get this live.
Let me rephrase: a productized service can work just fine, but if you are effective, you are a widget machine on demand and not a trusted strategic partner. It frames you as a cookie cutter vs an artisan. Productized services gives up the juice in exchange for no/low friction.
@tomowenmorgan Where do you get your 3/4 moments of euphoria from? I did some grappling/bjj in the past but seem to enjoy running more these days... Curious to see what I did wrong 😅
I recently used ChatGPT to create a list of possible ideas for a brand positioning. It created a bland and expected set of answers. This made it easy to eliminate anything obvious, so we could then get to work coming up with new, more surprising ideas. Genuinely very helpful.
@fighto I don’t see this happening very soon. There are huge trust issues when it comes to AI. Especially when there is no one right answer. (And even when there is one, AI gets it wrong too often) You want to evaluate and compare treatments, products, solutions, routes etc.
🤯🤯Well this is something else.
GPT-4 passes basically every exam. And doesn't just pass...
The Bar Exam: 90%
LSAT: 88%
GRE Quantitative: 80%, Verbal: 99%
Every AP, the SAT...
If you've ever tried to do OKRs, you've probably found them tricky in some predictable ways.

I've seen that "reverse engineering" pathology every time. Until now.

Sam Altman famously wrote:
"The only thing that solves lack of growth is growth".
He advises us to keep a list of all the things that block growth.
This exercise will help you identify the underlying causes.
Let's take an example:
Start with a keyword research tool and you’ll find high difficulty terms that don’t convert.
Start with audience research and you’ll find low difficulty terms that do.
and by all means I'm not an expert in it at all. I do have a basic understanding of how ML and AI and neural networks and language models work though. and they do NOT work like a search engine - which is the fundamental flaw most SEOs are making.
