@teresajanedavis Cool, I worked for Marquee group at the time so got 3 day VIP passes, but, as happens, was running cable at Reading on the Friday, had a session to do at Marquee Saturday, but got to enjoy the Sunday in the VIP enclosure and backstage !! (I was only 19 ) oh my, happy days !!

@Blindlemoncurd @krishgm My first gig was Steve Hillage at the Southend Kurzel, understandably, I remember arriving at the gig , and nothing after that, apparently it was great tho', I worked on "Open" at the Marquee and Steve told me so :))

@Blindlemoncurd @easyJet Blimey, sounds ghastly, I flew BA to Seville and back last week, 3 hour delay outwards and 3 hour delay inwards (Gatwick trouble both times !!), Flying ain't what it used to be, sympathies Mon Ami) - twas so much nicer in the old Biplanes with British Caledonian xx

Love it , recorded so many bands on that stage, ,backstage was tight , imagine Dr John and the Chris Barber jazz band or Ossibissa , both over 30 players !! Iron Maidens death head needed avoiding as it covered stage with pyros !! ZZ Top were sublime :))
